If this needs to be moved, please do. Apologies..
Here goes
I won't go into all the specifics but I remember a ton of the stuff I read about Punk last year. As for me, I loved him then I got pissy like an entitled brat when he left, but I've come to realize that I really enjoyed the guy. I certainly didn't buy his house. All that aside, here's my point
Say he never left or he returned or however you wanna book it.. Imagine how much more EXCITING Raw would be with him being able to have feuds with Kevin Owens, Cesaro, Samoa Joe, Rollins, Brock, Sting, Bray, Reigns, Ambrose.. MIND BLOWN! Haha, and you know him and Cena would have more good matches. In a time of lull, he wouldn't do a whole lot long term IMO but if he never left, but say he was around with all these guys right now and with all the hot stuff going on in NXT... It'd be awesome.
What yall think?

I was never the biggest Punk fan, but a Rollins feud over the title sounds quite tasty.

He's one of the best overall talents WWE has ever had in my opinion. Look back at wrestling historically and not many could match his ability in the ring or cutting promos. An Owens/Punk feud would be amazing. He's a classic case of not knowing what you have until it's gone.

A healthy, motivated CM Punk is one of the best in the business. Too bad that the end of his WWE run he was neither healthy nor motivated.
I'd love to see him back but only if it is the 2011 pipe bomb dropping Summer of Punk superstar.

Oh man, it would be sweet if Punk never left. Too bad he quit.

I loved Punk, but I haven't really missed him. The rise of Bryan, Rollins, NXT, Suplex City, Owens, New Day, Ambrose, Reigns, Cesaro, The Wyatt's, and several others have all been more than enough to keep me entertained.

I hate to ever say that. But, like Bryan, they both peaked, and we have new stars to watch take their journeys. Whats left for Punk honestly? Other than dream matches/feuds? Another title reign? His longest was good enough for me. King of the Ring? I guess, but that seems to be more of a curse at the moment. I hope he does well in UFC, because WWE has been pretty damn good without him. But, if he comes back, I wouldn't be against it. He may even have me excited for it!

He left at such a bad time and it's depressing to think about. Just look at how incredible NXT has gotten in the time since he left. If he were to return in say... a year or two, have mercy, I can't begin to imagine the awesomeness we would see.

Punk left at the right time for me. Punk as a character was done and he was rightfully dropping down the card. Bryan/Shield/Wyatts maybe a couple of others at the time were passing Punk by and Punk shouldn't have stuck around to make up the numbers.

I hope he never returns. I couldn't stand him, I wasn't entertained by him, and the day he left I was ecstatic. if he were to return I would stop watching. The most overrated ever in my opinion.

It was a good time for him to leave. His character had mostly done everything and he was so burned out his performances were suffering greatly from it. It was obvious he didn't want to be there. If he came back rejuvenated I would be fine with that. I'd also be fine if he never came back at all.

Maybe he could actually main event WrestleMania... Why join a list of 32 matches when he's one of the smaller 23 listings as going against The Undertaker at Wrestlemania with possibly the largest story based build up? Theres two guys who I thought had Takers number at Mania. Randy Orton during the Legend Killer era and Punk. He has nothing left to prove or acheive other than, understandably, a main event spot at Mania. But, he doesn't need it. Think of it this way. As long as WWE is here, there will always be a spot for the main event. Taker is not immortal, and his time in the ring is winding down. Punk cemented part of his legacy ad being 1 in 23. Thats doon to be an unobtainable goal.

There's no way that a healthy and motivated CM Punk makes WWE anything but better. He's just that good.

Kane (XIV and XX), Triple H (XXVII and XXVIII), Shawn Michaels (XXV and XXVI), and Edge (XXIV) all had larger build ups.

Sucks Punk left when he did because he could probably be having the best matches of his career right now with guys like Rollins, Owens, Cesaro, etc. and Balor, Breeze, etc. in the future.
