I love Roman. Few tweaks to his character and he'll be a mega star.

I love Roman. Few tweaks to his character and he'll be a mega star. Tweaks need to come naturally... if everything happened naturally Reigns would have been the number 2 guy behind Bryan and once Bryan got injured fans would have been behind Reigns in the top spot. Issue with Reigns is more the fans have been told he's the next big deal when in this case it should have happened naturally.

But his time will come soon enough.

No Cena's the Hogan to Bryan's Hart, without the racism and politics Poor comparison as Bret wasn't a main eventer until Hogan left, except in 93 where Bret was drawing more. As far as I'm aware Bryan has never done more merch or drawn better houses than Cena.

Your points are correct. Anyway Reigns needs tweaks to be a major star

Had there been a wrestler who debuted as "The Next Big Thing," he'd have been booted out of WWE a long time ago. Problem is us fans. We're not awesome. We're entitled tools.

He's getting there, no doubt; let him come together naturally, like he's doing now. Problem is, no matter how big a face gets, now they either have to settle for #2 to Cena, or they go heel and lose to Cena. Reigns is no different, get that big stale piece of crap outta here and we might be able to have a fresh take on things in the company!

Yeah just let Roman win us over naturally. Not having him get the pinfall victory when Ambrose could easily get it. Not having him do one move after Ambrose has just taken out the Wyatts. And especially not having him win Superstar of the Year when he did nothing for three months.
Lately he's been good, aside from some things that just piss fans off like picking up what's left after Ambrose is done.

So am I the only one who thinks Roman is getting worse, not better?
He's doing less in the ring, less on the mic, letting himself be carried entirely by Dean Ambrose, and making an ass out of himself in interviews when out of character. I'm failing to see a star there.
Regardless, this is funny I suppose.

But it's to the point where everyone knows(Hardcore and casual fans) that he will be one of the top 3 superstars of the next 10 years. I say top 3 because I truly think HHH intends on pushing Rollins as the #1 once he gets majority control of the main roster. People seem to have just accepted the fact that Reigns is going to be a full blown main eventer and try to make themselves think he's getting better. I, like you, don't know where these people are seeing these big improvements. Maybe a little bit in the ring.

I, like you, don't know where these people are seeing these big improvements. Maybe a little bit in the ring. I think Reigns improved a lot from, say, this time last year to Wrestlemania season. He also had two very, very good matches in that span of time (vs. Bryan, and vs. Lesnar.) Since then, though, he's done very little of note, and I'm not just talking about his booking. They've very clearly been trying to leech Ambrose's popularity in the hopes that his endorsement will get Reigns over, but in reality, it's done little more than make Roman complacent and regressive. He's back to being the Shield guy - the one who gets some hot tags, hits his spots, and gets the pinfall while the other guy(s) do(es) all the work. It's not doing him any favors. With so much talent out there and such a lack of connection for Reigns, I'm not so sure the "top guy" thing is going to work anymore, and even WWE seems to have cooled on the idea substantially in recent months. I certainly think the desire to build Roman up is still there, but at this point, I don't see it being met with anything other than major resistance (again) unless he he gets a good heel run in and gives the fans a reason to respect and appreciate him.

Agree on all points. I still hope it works out for him because he does have some obvious qualities.
