Not long ago I brought my first and only Mattel figure which happened to be E22 The Rock. Bare in mind this was my first wrestling figure purchase in over 5 years! I was just curious of what some of your first Mattel figures were.

Elite 1 Punk Found it at my local Walmart
If I didn't find that I highly doubt I would have ever started collecting

My first Mattel purchases I made in the spring of 2013, which coincidentally also came after a five-year hiatus from collecting. They were a Basic 22 Mark Henry and the Cena-Punk BP from Series 17. Modest pickups perhaps, but Cena was a much-needed update from my Jakks figure, I had never owned Henry, and Punk was one of my favorites at the time.

Wrestlemania Herritage: John Cena! I remember I made my cousin get Batista, and he was mad because we both wanted the John Cena from Mattel, to see the difference between them and Jakks. (Not my photo)

If I'm not mistaken it was Best of 2010 Elite Randy Orton. When I first saw it I thought it look dope! The articulation, the tattoos, the cloth shirt, I just had to have it. I remember as soon as Jakks started making RA's I stopped collecting but Mattel brought me back in but with prices going up I'm slowly letting go again.

B35 Daniel Bryan. Had no clue of elites but was blown away by the head being able to move up/down side to side, the bicep swivel, the boot swivel, hinged wrists, paint and sculpt quality.
My last figures before that were TTL and the very first real scans. Elites, while pricey, are exactly the figures I needed as a wrestling figure kid

Big show Bryan battle pack used with my ra's which were packed away for 5 years then I started collecting Mattel, then I bought an aba elite taker and found out about elites so now I collect only those. A couple grands later and prob not even close to having all the figures. But I have all the ones I want, for the most part

Pretty sure it was Michelle McCool, either her or Edge.

2010 Flexforce CM Punk. If I'm not mistaken, he came with a chair.

RSC ECW CM Punk. Thought it was the coolest thing to have a action figure of him which I hadn't had one since I was like 10. Then had to buy the The Shield elites, then Bray Wyatt.. Etc.

I was actually thinking about making a thread like this recently. This was mine. From RSC. I had wondered if they were in scale with my TtLs. Never planned on starting a full fledged collection. Now I have hundreds.

Probably legends 1 scsa and road warriors. Despite some of the terrible attire choices in the legends line, some of the characters such as those 3, rock, demolition, and ultimate warrior got me into collecting mattels.

The First Mattel's I had were Basic - Jack Swagger (Can't remember Series) Elite 1 MVP
First figures I bought Basic - Heritage Stone Cold Elite - Tyson Kidd
And First Battle Pack was either CM Punk and Gallows or Chris Jericho and Ricky Steamboat
