For me it was the set of those first Wrestlemania Heritage figures: Stone Cold, Edge, Undertaker, Batista, Orton, Cena. Found them all in my local Sainsburys...

Basic Series 3 Mickie James. I personally thought it had a good likeness to her & bought the Royal Rumble Beth Phoenix to go with her the week after.

A bunch of legend figures. I had collected Jakks for so long and gave up once mattel started because I didnt want to start over. 10 months later after seeing a ton of pics, that I wanted some. I went to target and bought legends Snuka, Slaughter, Dusty, Mark Henry and Kofi elite. I was mesmerized when I saw them in person. They were so different from Jakks, and in a good way. They looked premium compared. Those were the days because they knew they had to win the audience over and went all out with attires and accessories. Now a days they know collectors will buy a figure even if its flawed or comes with nothing. Its sad actually. I wish more people would take a stand against their unethical approach, but alas we'll never see this stuff again because as most say, "It looks awful, but I'll still buy it." I'm feeling nostalgic lol.

My first was Elite 30 - Animal in late November of last year.
Since then I've collected every flashback elite upto 37 and down to 18, plus hall of fame, heritage series and defining moments since Ric Flair.
