Dave Meltzer is reporting that Biff Busick and Rich Swann have been signed by WWE but they just need to pass the physical test. Also rumored to be signed by WWE are Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, and Drew Gulak.

Season 2 is a lock, they're just waiting to announce it and have the filming scheduled for late this year/early next. Where have you got the impression they're struggling for a second series?

WWE also signed former Knockout Sarita. Only as a trainer though...
"Sarita real name Sarah Stock, is headed to developmental, but will actually be signed as a coach, not an active competitor. It was noted in the past that she had worked as a guest trainer for WWE a few times this year, and she’s likely not going to be brought up to WWE as an active wrestler at 36 years old."

Along with Sara Amato, Sarah Stock was one of about five girls that really got me into women's wrestling in SHIMMER. This is excellent news.

Good group of talent, nothing I'm incredibly pumped about. When you set the bar at Zayn/Itami/Balor/Owens/Joe, you tend to have to keep it there, even going back to Cesaro/Hero/Rollins/Bryan/Ambrose. Not trying to undersell any of these guys but nobody on that level for me out of this group. Probably most excited for Gargano.
At this point, anyone outside of ACBB, the Briscoes, Ricochet, or AJ Styles is really just a "cool, let's see how it goes" type of deal for me. I guess a big part of the issue is WWE actually having to wait for the guys with real ROH contracts to be free to negotiate.

I heard they had some issues with the money? It is expensive to run and they may move to a different location, but season two is pretty set in stone.

I guess a big part of the issue is WWE actually having to wait for the guys with real ROH contracts to be free to negotiate. I don't think we'll ever see the Briscoes in WWE. They negotiated with them when their ROH contact was coming up either earlier this year or late last year. In an interview they said they would have taken a huge pay cut and been stuck in NXT for a few years so they re-signed with ROH. I think that's going to be a problem with getting older indie guys to sign. If they are gong to have to start at the very bottom with someone who is new to the business, why bother? Most of these guys have families to think about. They can't afford those massive pay cuts.
