This is a really bad year for wrestling, with all of the critical deaths and scandals. I can't speak on the Snuka thing since I was barely alive and can only go by rumors, but it's tragic for everyone involved. it's tragic for Snuka as well, having to go through this in his seventies or whatever after spending the last thirty years putting it behind him. it's tragic for the family of the victim having to relive a nightmare all over again. if nothing else I hope they get closure. Sad sad sad.

Geez only 32 years later. And people wonder why people act on their own accord. Justice system drags their feet on blatant crimes and throws the book at people for jaywalking. Not saying Snukas guilty, but should not be taking this long.

Interesting. Surely, WWE will Benoit him now. Wouldn't be surprised if they Benoit'd Tamina I'm not a big Tamina fan, but it would be a shame if she was excommunicated because of the actions of her father. |

Add in Hulk Hogan's 'apology' too... The news for the wrestling business just does not get any prettier. The business we love is populated with horrible, horrible people. This has loomed of Snuka's entire career and well justice can catch up to you even if it takes you 30 years... That family has been through so much to fight for 30 years, hopefully this is closure for them. Not entirely sure what will happen to Snuka... |

I vividly remember the front page of the Easton Express newspaper when this happened. I read it wrong & thought Snuka had died.
I have no idea why it took so long to prosecute, but I'm glad the family wasn't hush-hushed & offered a monetary compensation.
I've got to wonder if Vince is a bit concerned. Could this be just the tip of the iceberg? I'd love to see him brought in for questioning & crack under the pressure.
In an unrelated story, Invader 1 is still considered innocent of murdering Bruiser Brody.

It would be a shame but she's not high enough on the diva totem pole for them to not consider it. She'll get "injured" then Sasha will blame Naomi for Summerslam/not getting into beat the clock, she's made Nikki tap out etc, breaks Team BAD up rather than rushing a new member in and gives Sasha her spotlight |

this one has been talked about for years and Vince McMahon new this and covered it up. on the night it happened he had lawyers go in and get all the drugs that superfly was on. just like when eddy Guerrero died Chavo said the wwe layers had him get rid of all the meds and drugs he was taken.
i would love to see them put vinces lying ass in prison.

If they don't wipe him from history, then it's not fair to how they treated Hogan. TBH, he should be removed from the website. He's a murderer. Now charged. That doesn't mean Hogan should be though. |

Isn't Snuka battling stomach cancer right now?? What are they gonna do, put him in prison anyhow?? And does this mean Snuka is erased from the WWE history books now?? Taken out of the HOF and such?? Hope so, cancer doesn't give you a reason to avoid prison. They get fine healthcare inside. And I hope he's erased, he quite possibly murdered a woman. |

Yep. He also told the police Snuka didn't know how to speak English. So that gave Snuka time to speak with lawyers and get his story straight, and to get the drugs out of his system. |

Vince will be fine. If he did anything chargeable that evidence also would have been presented to the grand jury. Edit: Murder has no statute of limitations . Other crimes do. So unless he actually conspired to kill her before the fact, they can't charge him with anything Didnt know there was no statute of limitations for murder. Was wondering how a crime this old, he could be charged with just now. |

I believe most of us have been waiting for the other shoe (or bare foot in this case) to drop on this for a while. I have long believed thats why Mattel hasn't given us another Snuka, at least since the possibility of this case reopening came to light. The real story here is whether or not Vince is gonn be drug into or even possibly charged with something.

According to Bill Apter, legendary wrestling journalist, Jimmy Snuka was NOT arrested this morning in his home. Jimmy and his wife drove to his scheduled hearing, paid his bail price, and then returned back home. Bill says all these reports are false, Jimmy was released upon bail and is at home. The case is closed. Jimmy may be infact charged w/ murder, but he was RELEASED due to bail! Jimmy is not in jail, sorry folks!
