That move and the springboard stunner have to go... Actually just get rid of Cena altogether.

I hope he's not seriously injured, but if he is, that could have been avoided if he stopped trying to use the Code Red. Cena, you are not a cruiserweight. I understand you want to used different moves in your moveset, but try moves that a 255 pound man can properly do, not moves meant for a 200 pound guy at best.

To me it looks like Cena wanted to do a sunset flip into a pin and Owens thought it was a Code Red
That or it was a Code Red that Owens was supposed to reverse and they both just kinda f'ed it up

It isn't Kevin Owens's fault that John Cena sucks.

How many times has Cena been out for injuries throughout his WWE career?

Clearly it was all Cena. Kevin Owens is wrestling perfection.

Looks there wasn't enough forward momentum the connect the move. I don't ever remember Cena ever doing the move without going down, then back before connecting.

Clearly it was all Cena. Kevin Owens is wrestling perfection. It was 50% Cena's fault, 50% Kevin Dunn's fault. It isn't Kevin Owens's fault that John Cena sucks. Kevin Owens thinks that people who think John Cena sucks are in denial. And he's right. Damn good interview in general, actually. Owens is awesome there. Such an effortlessly charismatic guy.

First off, happy he isn't injured. I may not like him but nobody deserves to get hurt.
Second, I appreciate John Cena trying to add new moves to counter the "You can't wrestle" and "five moves of doom" criticisms, but the moves he is trying don't look good. His standing hurricanrana is horrendous, the springboard stunner is not good, and this code red move doesn't look good when he tries it.
If Cena is going to expand his move set, I think he should go for more of the power moves and less so for the high flying, athletic ones. I'm thinking the Jackhammer suplex/slam (Goldberg), running powerslam (British Bulldog), the torture rack (Lex Luger), variations on power bombs, and such.

I attended the show on Saturday night from Charlottesville VA, same main event. Street fight vs Owens. He did the move really good actually, I can't help but think of Melina myself lol Just another note, maybe I've missed it on TV time but there was a match with Rusev vs Dolph and Summer got involved and Lana gave her a Rusev kick to the head Lana moving up in the world!

I'd even like to see something like bear hug (to really exploit the look of his arms and strength) into a belly to belly or overhead belly. Although that dude still really needs to cinch up that STF (old news, but it almost never looks "real")

The wife and I went. I actually caught one of Cena's wrist bands after the match. That kinda stuff doesn't usually excite me, but my wife was going nuts so it was cool. But hey, how bad is that new Adam Rose gimmick? Situation Serious...ly horrible.

John Cena gets away with everything nowadays. But if I were him, I'd tell Vince one day that the fans are tired of his stale booking and tell him that things have to change. Shawn Michaels told him so when the WWE was struggling in the Monday Night Wars with WCW. If I were to tell him to turn me heel and let the other guys do what they want to get over as main eventers, I would do so. I'd do the same thing as Triple H too!

Cena escapes injury but Lana breaks her wrist? There is no justice in this world!
