Hey, I am new to the forum and started collecting figures last month. I made a introduction post in the mattel section. I wanted to share some of my progress in custom championship belts. I got the designs from a post on here and printed them out. I used super glue to put them on the leather. I plan on getting sticky side felt to make it thicker/heavier and add velcro to the back to have them around the figures waist. It seems that my print outs turned out to be bigger than expected. The UFC belt definitely came out larger but it looks decent on Basic Brock Lesnar. Some things I noticed was that you can see where I added on the picture to the leather for the buttons. Is there a way to eliminate that and make it look more genuine? This is my first time doing this and I hope I will only improve. Any advice is appreciated. I have printed out over 10 belts I want to make but started with these three first. Eventually, I want to grow my skills to make a custom figure, but I will wait for that one until I get better at it. Updated: Added the whole lot of belts I have made. UPDATED: September 30, 2015 (See Below) The 2 U.S. Belts are my favorites thus far.

I'm a big fan of properly some cut out belts. I think they have the potential to look better than the belts that come with figures. I would recommend laminating the plates. It helps with longevity and it makes them look better. There used to be a guy on eBay that did that. He curved the plates a bit too which helped a lot.
Yours look great. In fact, I think they look better than all of the printouts that are currently available on eBay. I think these little improvement would make them phenomenal.

That was my first set and I ended up making many more. I will post pictures now. I realized quickly that I should printed the pics on glossy photo paper versus the matte finish. My new ones have the glossy finish.

I like them a lot!! Just as a suggestion, you should make the other version of the NXT Tag Team Championship Title Belt as well.
