I was reading the last few pages of the thread, and maybe I'm missing something, but doing such involved modifications to the torso or gluing it to the leg piece both seem like drastic solutions. With this Cody basic to UE conversion I had posted in the thread prior, I was able to just switch the pegs themselves. I heated up the pegs, sliced them as flat as possible with an exacto blade, and superglued the UE peg onto the main event figure. Using a dremel blade and sanding the pieces down to be as flat as possible would be even more reliable, but even without doing so I was able to get close enough the torso is flush with the legs and still able to turn.

mrtheiphonekid I tried that on an Ultimate Orton custom and the peg wouldn't ever stay on firm enough. I used basic super glue. What adhesive did you use?

Is there anyway you could get molded jacket arms (for example piper and bischoff ultimates) onto an elite torso?

I am pretty much the greatest customizer of all time I was thinking of doing this over the weekend ;-) I have a spare John Cone torso and when I say I am considering doing this, but going far FAR more extra. Because I just KNOW they are never giving us that figure for real. They seem allergic to giving us the truly outrageous Seth figures, except for that new Fan Takeover Ultimate, and we had to vote for that. Maybe they're afraid that the almost-entirely-male wrestling figure target demographic wouldn't appreciate a Seth Rollins figure in bedazzled lace. (They'd probably be right)

None of the torso swap suggestions are more drastic than what you did above with your Cody conversion Gluing the torso to the waist is absolutely, unequivocally a more drastic measure, lol. The torso modification is a more elegant solution, but it takes more effort and time.

Hopefully this question makes sense.
Is there a figure that has standard "wrestling boots" feet, that matches the new neon red plastic that came on the Elite 101 Roman?
I'd like to swap his feet for feet that aren't heels.
