People weren't getting angry or being rude with you. God has just talked to me, he says it's time that I grow up and move on from this hobby, the lord doesn't communicate like us humans, instead he sends messages and he moves us even when we don't want to move or we're not ready yet, So often we stew in our own diseased complacency, because we're used to it and don't want to let go(even if our behavioral problems are self-destructive). He told me to give my entire collection of toys away to my young customers for free. I have many children customers that live in poverty, so I'll hand them all out one by one, I know their eyes will fill with joy because I've done this in the past with other figures I no longer wanted. I have to ask our father in prayer to give me courage and to guide me in to whatever my next journey may be, I'll just have to find a productive hobby to replace this one, so please ban me now I am no longer a ringside collectable customer. |

Yo, I'm loving Bubba's torso. I thought I'd hate it looking at the prototype images but it's super great. Still going to have to work on another Bubba and still not happy with the default Mattel head.

Awesome Mordecai there. Man I'm having a headache just figuring out how the torso was painted. I am assuming it was something like painting the "shirt" in white, then painstakingly painting the skin colour dot by dot to make it look mesh-like?
Does not look like fun lol But he came out looking superb

Does not look like fun lol But he came out looking superb I only worked on the head. The attire was painted by fellow member Gunnstinger. I am guessing that he painted with brush as well as spray for the mesh effects. |

Very nice Mordecia. I am guessing he painted the base white, then let it dry, placed mesh fabric on and airbrushed skin tone, then took off mesh and touched up around edges. I've seen this technique before, but not on such a small scale. Great job to both of you.

Some people will be annoyed at me bringing up a dispute that seems to have ended but I don't really care. Cb88 you are hilarious. How can you get upset at people not complimenting that monstrosity of a fix up? Ever heard the saying 'if you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all?' I think people may have been using that philosophy when it comes to your 'work'. The head is so big it looks like Mr. Mackey dressing up as HBK for Halloween, and what have you done to the lower leg joint? It looks like something that would be found under the bed of that evil kid from toy story

What the hell have I just read? Anyway, those Steiners look fan-  ing-tastic....Other then PJ I dont think anyone else on here is dying for a Steiner Bros figures more then me. My dream if for Mattel to remake everyone that was in the WCW Galoob line. I beg your pardon! Someday I plant to re-create one of my most favourite matches of all time: steiners vs sting & Luger -match of the year in Mattel form. |
