I believe the general consensus is, if a Jakks head is in scale, by all means. If it looks like an Easter Island statue, you should find another option.

Heads should look realistic, not like bobbleheads.
A lot of Jakks heads look really bad on Mattel bodies, that is not an example.

Generally, pre 2007 Jakks heads seem to fit quite well, they're not HUGE, and for the most art actually in scale.
The first figure I had that had the massive heads was Classic Superstars DDP. My word that figure is an eyesore because of it.

Heads should look realistic, not like bobbleheads. A lot of Jakks heads look really bad on Mattel bodies, that is not an example. A lot of Jakks heads look really bad on Jakks bodies too lol. The term "balloon heads" was invented here because of Jakks inability to keep the heads proportionate. |

Use good old Jakks head and disgared it's body... that way, you could try this one(the far better version which fully exceeded and surpasses Mattel's feeble attempt by far. But beware, you'll get buried and ignored for it from the Mattel only fans  |

No you will get buried or ignored if the head is either out of scale on the Mattel body or if the skin tones nowhere near matches each other. That Rick Steiner above isn't a stock Jakks CS head you can clearly see it has been shrunken and repainted.

IT's not even a discussion. It's one person's opinion and misconception thinking that there are users 'against' Jakks heads. That just isn't the case.

I've got no problem with anyone using Jakks heads. Some of them can be a bit big but some don't look bad at all.

Nice assist to fellow moderator PJ, spidey, but in order to gain his respect, you'll have to pepper him and others with subtle passive aggressive hints, you called me "childish", that's a bit too blunt, spidey, easy does it. You have to pretend to be nicer when hurling your insults. I like his gimmick though, the lack of notifications is slick. How can you not like or respect moderator PJ though? After all, he's been around here for years and consistently post useful and helpful bullet points. |

What the hell have I just read? Anyway, those Steiners look fan-  ing-tastic....Other then PJ I dont think anyone else on here is dying for a Steiner Bros figures more then me. My dream if for Mattel to remake everyone that was in the WCW Galoob line. |
