What head would you use for Johnny B. Badd?
I've seen people mention Tito Santana, but I just can't see any resemblance.

So as I mentioned in the official NXT thread Black was noticeably shorter than Bret Hart who is listed as an inch shorter than Black. But I knew there was a calf that would work I had used an extra pair of L1 Slaughter calves painted black. But after reading about marino13 idea of using an old Jericho figures calves with the part of the kickers attached to them I looked around and noticed the Top Talent Rollins also has the old kicker pads with the piece on the calves. So maybe when I am out and about over the weekend I will pick up another Seth for those calves so Black won’t have the calves I painted. Plus I think it’ll look better with the pads touching the top of the kickers again. Original -Lower leg swap -

I think the Rollins (or Jericho) idea will work perfect, it has the black calve and the extra kickpad part to make it all blend in well. Black towered over almost every in the Rumble when he entered so hopefully the new calves will give him the proper height.

So I picked up the Undisputed Era at my local TRU (Canada). It had two main issues. The "KO" on O'Reilly's left knee pad is not centered at all. I can live with that. However, Bobby Fish came with a defective left boot. The hinge connector to the foot is much too long and the foot had too much extra plastic inside where the joint enters, so his left leg was a considerable amount longer than his right. In an attempt to save him I have given him an E51 Styles left boot with the "1" painted over. I used this to keep the black/silver motif going, as well as his two boots being kind of different from each other in the first place Hoping it's passable look-wise. Really don't want to have to buy another 3-pack.

For those with the new Core style basics, are you able to swap those kickpads onto the original basic figures?
I'm thinking of picking up a Core Finn Balor to convert into a custom and I've already swapped the knees from an old basic onto an elite body.

Hey thanks for the cool words guys. A few people asked to see the neck where I shaved some material off. Pic on the left is what it looks like after I shaved the neck down. The pic on the right, shows the area in yellow where I removed plastic material. I used an xacto knife, slowly with patience. I shaved off tiny bits at a time, so that I didn't gouge too deeply. It's such a small area, and such a tiny amount of plastic to remove, that I didn't want to use a dremel tool. I'm sure with the right bit, and a steady hand, one could pull it off. But I used an exacto knife. The pointy tip also helped a lot around the ears. Don't go too deep, there's very little material here. That area is very thin to begin with. Thanks soo much for the tips.. my aj had a huge double chin and i just got this drew and used your tips and it worked perfectly.

Head swap and touched up the beard/eyebrows: Now if that was how the head was painted originally I would be picking up the figure. Great work.

Head swap and touched up the beard/eyebrows: How does the original head compare to this one? Do you have a close up picture of the original?

So I'm thinking of swapping the biceps on Drew McIntyre with either Elite Kane arms or the ones used on Wade Barrett figures. Anyone that has them, what do you think?

I would recommend Elite 51 Berzerker. It's relatively cheap and the arms have similar wristbands to McIntyre's look. Does anyone know what skin tone Elite 65 Eric Young has? Also, I'm shopping around for a custom elite Cody - if you're selling one or willing to commission, please PM me.
