Nothing crazy but took advantage of the BOGO 1/2 off from Target to convert the Royal Rumble & RSC exclusives into Ultimates. Also added the gold braces from the Then, Now, Forever basic. I know the elbow pad isn’t accurate with the gold but figured I throw it on to give it something different. This is what the thread is about! Show your fixups and customs! Nice job. Ultimate Austin is a must have

I want to do a early-mid 2000’s return Edge using the chase basic 113 but not sure which head best covers this 03/04 time period?

Does anybody know if the 59 Ryder is on balls? Been trying to find out for a Cardona custom and can't find it.

Thanks man! Pretty handy chart too! How can you tell if a figure is ratchet or ball? I've never been able to tell the difference from looking.

Thanks man! Pretty handy chart too! How can you tell if a figure is ratchet or ball? I've never been able to tell the difference from looking. Look into the hip joints, if the "ball" part is smooth, then it's a ball joint. If it's got a ridge on it and looks like a separate part of the "ball joint", then it's ratchet. Also, being ratcheted - it will not move as smoothly when articulated. But that's usually subtle. Compare with 2 figures on the chart provided above and you'll notice the difference.

To add on to this, you can normally put balls in a lot of different poses that the normal ratchet can't do, it just makes for a much better figure. You can try moving it like they said and if you can do something like splits and moving the legs out of it than it's ball joints.

Austin is on ratchet joints, but can be converted: Does the Stunning Steve Austin have the same skintone as the Stone Cold figures? Yes.
