I, too, am in the camp of wanting Nikki to retain tonight. Breaking AJ's record means nothing to me. The Diva's Championship has never meant a damn thing - be it on AJ, or Nikki, or anyone else. The Diva's Revolution has done nothing to change that thus far. Charlotte's #1 contendership was horribly botched and poorly received. Getting angry that politics air on the side of the Bellas shouldn't mean anything to us because we've been conditioned to believe that everything WWE says about the divas division is hollow, and therefore, the title (and the title holder) is hollow. Not to mention, I'm inclined to agree with most of the sentiments about Charlotte being an unoriginal clone of her father. She's good, and she'll get better. She's not the face of the division, though. The crowd is not responding to her the way WWE would hope. Also, she's not Sasha Banks. I say that with the utmost respect to her, and every other diva on the roster, but it's simple - there's Sasha Banks, and there's everyone else. Sasha Banks is the John Cena of the women's division. Until she's positioned that way, the divas division is not going to live up to its potential. She's just a cut above, plain and simple. Vince wants Eva Marie to be the face of the Divas division though. If plans go through like I heard about Eva becoming NXT Women's Champion, I can see her just showing up within months then as the NXT Women's Champion and going after Nikki Bella and the Divas Title.

If that's the case, then they need to completely drop the Divas Revolution angle and simply let the whole division fade into the background again while the real workers tear the house down at NXT. Eva Marie is not showing that she has any of what it takes to become a viable in-ring worker. She's sloppy, uncomfortable, and has shown little to no improvement. I was all for giving her a chance, and I still am to some extent, but a girl of her caliber can never be a true face of the women's division unless the women's division returns to its T&A roots. I also don't buy the moniker of "any heat is good heat" in her case. She's getting a very legitimate form of "go away" heat, and it's not going to get any better. If WWE's goal is to make women's wrestling appealing and squash the stigma of it being the bathroom break match, putting Eva Marie as the focal point is literally the most counterproductive action they could possibly take. Given Vince and Kevin Dunn's mindset, though, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

I think with both Vince and Dunn it's not about the Divas division anymore, but more about Total Divas the show. Vince could care less that Sasha and Bayley put on a great match a few weeks ago, but he cares about how Nikki Bella can cope with issues on Total Divas - even if it is scripted. I think the best thing for all those divas to do in the WWE is try to get on Total Divas. It will help their career out shockingly as it seems.

I say scrap Total Divas and stop building the division around a bloody "reality" TV show.

I certainly agree that the divas who get on Total Divas tend to have the best career trajectory. They need B-role footage for the show, which ends up getting them featured on Raw and Smackdown, as silly and ass-backwards as that is. Total Divas is common, trashy reality fodder, but it's good for the company, I get that. It's not going anywhere. But there should be clear separation, and there isn't. I firmly believe Total Divas can coexist in the same space as a competitive and intriguing women's wrestling division, but I also acknowledge that that is very unlikely to happen until Vince and Kevin are out of power.

If Nikki beats AJ's record I'm okay with it. Anyway, Raw can't be as bad as it was the last two weeks...can it? ... are you new here?

Charlotte for the win! Also, Miz is teasing his biggest guest ever for MizTv. I feel like it will be himself.

I want Charlotte to win the title just because if they're ever actually going to build a Division out of this thing, Charlotte is a much better starting choice than Nikki Bella.
I don't really hate the Bellas, but you're not gonna build a legitimate Division around them... especially if they can't even act like heels properly.

I'm not going to be uber pissed if Nikki retains, but I'd much rather see Charlotte win.
