Just thought I'd share.
This is one of the shows that really I would love to learn more about, as it just seems so out of the ordinary for a religious service. But here's one of my favorite wrestling related clips, such a combination of talent in one place, and to the best of my knowledge, this was part of a series of events Shawn and Sting did throughout 2002-2004. I'll also embed a clip of them interviewing each other for a religious TV network.

one of the reasons I really thought Sting would've signed in then 2000s was because of church buddy HBK.....I used to always think HBK would be the key to Vince signing him.

Too bad Sting's hair thinned, he looked so badass back here.

Too bad Sting's hair thinned, he looked so badass back here. Sting vs. Shawn would have been a sweet match. It certainly would!!! HBK could have disguised some of Stings weaker points in the 2000s. 2006 would have been greatness...the shape Sting was in at BFG 2006 was insane. |

HBK could have disguised some of Stings weaker points in the 2000s. 2006 would have been greatness...the shape Sting was in at BFG 2006 was insane. If Sting could have negotioted a deal that gave him creative control in WWE from 2001-onward, the possibilities are immense. Sigh. What could have been. |

And I will tell ya, when Jeff Jarrett smashed the guitar over Sting's head, and he sold it for a second and then yelled and flexed, we went absolutely nuts! We high fived each other and screamed like we were kids again and it was 1990 with Sting winning his first World Title. The few months he took off to train and get tanned and in shape and wrestled without the singlet was impressive. Then it was like it all went away again, Sting after that got lazy again it seemed. I wanna say Ric Flair said it once that if Sting took himself serious he could have been even greater than what he was. At times I do believe that. |
