Their have been so many awesome jakks toys over the years. They were predominantly the best fig makers in the 90's and sole survivor in the early 2000s. What was your favorite toy when you were a kid? For me I have to go with the monster ring! Out of all the figs, rings, and toys I had this one seems to stand out the most. It was the first ring in the mid 90s to hit the market. Well the first good ring. Their was the bend ems line up and i think they had a small ring. This one always stood out in my mind. (Their was also the hasbro ring but thats in another class of its own, lets just talk jakks here. Still greatest figs imo) Even though it was a ripoff of the ljn ring i still love it. Too bad jakks never made the cage for it.

My favourite playset had to be either the Backstage Mayhem or first Hell In A Cell (with Orton & Taker)

My favourite playset had to be either the Backstage Mayhem or first Hell In A Cell (with Orton & Taker) Nice. I had that first HIAC. That was a solid playset. Jakks was putting out some real quality stuff around that time. I really enjoyed the vengeance arena too. It was the first real attempt at making the entire arena and it was pretty damn good. This one wasnt jakks but i thought id mention the wcw nitro arena by toybiz. Many epic battles were fought there lol.

I have three.
1) Hulk Still Rules set
When I got into wrestling in 2002, it was because of Hulk Hogan. My mom didn't like us watching wrestling, but when Hogan came back to the WWF my dad watched it as he had watched it in the 80's. He let me watch it and I was hooked. When I first saw photos of the Hogan set on eBay, I told him I wanted it he took me and my sister out that night to two different stores in different towns and we somehow found three sets. He bought me and my sister one and one he kept MOC. I'll always love that set.
2) Real Scale Elimination Chamber set
This set was MASSIVE. I wanted to include at least one play set here, and this one was the biggest and had the most usage. Mainly used the ring wth no rings skirts as a house show ring.
3) CS 1 Bret and Shawn
I loved older wrestling as a kid. I had BCA figures of Bret and Shawn that I beat up. The month that the RSC pre orders shipped, I was so sick. Stayed home a week from school. I remember those two figures came in and brightened my week up. If you guys remember correctly WWE and Raw magazine used to have the informer and in one issue he said that a certain superstar associated with excellence was set to return and I thought it was Bret, bummer. But at least I had him in RA Form.

I remember really liking the ttl 4 Kurt Angle with the cloth singlet when I was younger (I believe this was my first ever wwf/e figure I got to choose myself in stores)... Unfortunately my cousin pissed me off one day and I literally broke the figure over his head. Then my dad fixed it by screwing his arm back on, lol... Ah, the days before I knew how to customize.

That Monster ring makes the figures look like mini figures, looks so ridiculous. Remember the all black ring myself.

My favourite toy as a kid had to be this. So many great memories. I wish I still had it.

Everyone's answer is wrestling related, so I'll go with Hasbro's WWF line, but my real favorite is either G.I. Joe or the Super Powers Collection.

If I could only have one line of wrestling figs it would be those. They represent everything that a toy should be imo.

I mean, even though the articulation was limited, you could still do a lot with them. At the very least, you could do most of what wrestlers were doing back then. I remember how I used to have Flair deliver his Figure Four. It was more of a hashtag, but it got the job done.

I loved the Buried Alive Boxed Set from Jakks. I think it was a Target exclusive and came with the Executioner.

My first WWF figure was a Mankind BCA. I loved it until it's head fell off. Apparently that's common?
Non-BCA, I had many, but I had this Toy Island RoboCop from the television show that I loved because his knees and elbows were articulated like a toybiz marvel figure. Also, I could remove his helmet and chest plate and replace them with battle damaged parts.

WWF Hasbros. They were pretty much the only toys I had as a kid. I would spend all day with these.
