The idea here is not to re-create the original Horsemen because in my opinion nothing could touch the original Horsemen not that it wouldn't be interesting to see a new era Horsemen stable or what the Horsemen of today would be like or who they would be so with that in mind if there was ever a Four Horsemen stable ever created for today, who would be in it as of 2015 seeing as how The Horsemen were formed 30 years ago in 1985 in what was once NWA formerly WCW:
J.J. Dillon- Ric Flair (the original leader of the Four Horsemen because it could not work without him being in this role and Flair has the charisma of J.J. to not only step into his shoes but he is a great manager but also a great strategist like J.J. was back in the day)
Ric Flair- Seth Rollins (the leader of this new Horsemen group, Rollins is what Flair was back in the 1980s when you think about it in terms of charisma but also being able to carry himself like a champion but also Rollins has the mic skills too and the all around wrestling ability to step into Flair's shoes especially as the leader and always having that World Title or being in contention for it much like how Flair was)
Arn Anderson- Kevin Owens (the enforcer of this new Horsemen group, Owens is basically what Arn Anderson was back in the 1980s in the sense of being the muscle but he has the overall look of a young Arn but much more athletic especially for a big man and he is the guy who basically would be Rollins' right hand much like how Arn was basically Flair's right hand but also he would be one half of the tag team in the new Horsemen)
Tully Blanchard- Cody Rhodes (Cody dropping the Stardust gimmick entirely and going back to being Cody Rhodes, Cody would be a great fit in this new Horsemen group think about it especially since his late father The American Dream Dusty Rhodes was an enemy of the Four Horsemen imagine if his son were to join? And especially for Cody to be under the tutelage of Flair)
Ole Anderson- Antonio Cesaro (the other half of the new Horsemen tag team but also he too would be considered the brawler/muscle of this group just like how Ole was back in the 1980s in the original Horsemen but also Cesaro he could be the one who eventually breaks off on his own after the ones turn on him much like how they turned on Ole)
Another ideal Horsemen stable would be:
Flair (J.J. Dillon) Charlotte (Ric Flair) Becky Lynch (Arn Anderson) Bayley (Ole Anderson) Sasha Banks (Tully Blanchard)

To be honest we should stop trying to recreate old factions and start trying to create fresh new ones like the shield,Wyatt Family, etc.

I had an international version with my figures
Alberto Del Rio (Mexico, Ric Flair leader) Cesaro (Switzerland, Arn Anderson enforcer) Mason Ryan (United Kingdom, Sid Vicious powerhouse) Drew McIntyre (Scotland, Barry Windham)

First and foremost, Ric Flair has to be the manager of this Stable. Fourtune only worked, because you originally had four TNA Stars who are close friends, all being led by the Nature Boy himself. Adding Kaz was great, and maybe adding Doug Williams and Matt Morgan was a stretch, but it still worked out.
Now onto my version of the new Horsemen.
Tag Team - John Cena and Rany Orton I know it might seem these future Hall of Famers would look like the new Two-Man Power Trip, but what I'm going for here is to strengthen the already strong Tag Team division, and keep them away from the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Title picture. They don't necessarily need to have a WWE Tag Team Championship Title run, but it would be nice.
Mid-Card - Seth Rollins After this incredible run Seth Rollins is having, I'd like to see him get a run for or with the Intercontinental Championship Title. If anyone deserves to be WWE Grand Slam Champion today, it's Seth freakin Rollins. Besides, he's young enough to go up and down the card.
Main Event - Daniel Bryan When, not if, Daniel Bryan comes back, I'd like to see him as the crown jewel of this Stable. They could even make a joke about how how he has to be "protected", due to being injured all the time. HA!! Flair want the biggest guy on the 4 Horsemen, but he sure was the leader.

To be honest we should stop trying to recreate old factions and start trying to create fresh new ones like the shield,Wyatt Family, etc. agreed. But for theoretical purposes, I can see the OP's version working pretty well. I just don't want to see Flair involved, lol..

Reunite the Shield (Rollins, Ambrose, & Reigns) and align them with Kevin Owens. Call em the Four Horsemen and I'd be cool with that.

I can't think of a main event "Ric Flair" character, but the other three for me would be Ziggler, Cesaro & Kidd.

I finally drank the koolaid. Kevin Owens is the best. He should be in the Hall of Fame right now actually. The fact that he's not is criminal.

You know what was awesome? The New Day. You want to know what wouldn't have been awesome? The New Nation of Domination. You know what was awesome? The Shield. You want to know what wouldn't have been awesome? A new nWo. You know what was awesome? The Wyatt Family (originally). You want to know what wouldn't have been awesome? A new Ministry of Darkness.
They have tried revitalizing the Corporation as the Authority and it has been horrid since the Shield broke up. Rehashing the gist of a previous idea has proven to be much more effective than being a near carbon copy, which is why TNA has been falling apart since 2010.
Failed: nWo 2000, WWE nWo, Immortal, Fortune Four, Aces and 0.8s, Dixieland
The one exception is Evolution which worked because the pieces all fell into place. At the moment they are missing the key component, their leader, their Ric Flair (4H), their Triple H (Evo.).

Everybody needs to stop trying to recreate the past, no new nWo, horsemen, DX, evolution, or any other faction for that matter.
People trying to recreate past memories in todays product is partly the reason why guys like Ambrose, Ziggler, Barrett, Rollins, etc... never get the spotlight they deserve. Because as long as people will still have the necessity to relive the past. Guys like Rock, Austin, Taker, Triple H, can show up whenever they want and continue to keep future stars out of big spotlight moments like main eventing Mania.

The McMahon-Helmsley Corporation IS the Authority, the only difference being the name change and their lackeys.
