I have not much complaints. It took me less than a minute to like that sid scan. Bulldog is good. Godfather great.
Sting looks intersting with painted shirt but the scan doesnt look like an old guy.. maybe the hair..
Ziggler still on the juice..
Mizdow looks good.. might get it for custom..

Sid's scan has grown on me. I think its really just painting now. Fix the orange hair and redo his eyebrows and it will be perfects...its just that ing body...AHHHHHHHHHH!!

I think Mattel did a phenomenal on this set. I'm strictly a Golden Era/ New Gen collector. Sid obviously works for those eras. I think Sting is fine as is his head sculpt. I was actually thinking that the shirt mold with a little modification would work for an Ultimate Maniac Randy Savege.

Don't know why everyone's complaining about Sting. Sure it's an odd choice of attire, but it's different and that's what I like about it. I think people are more concerned with the weird looking headscan and part choices (and using plastic over cloth) than the attire itself. I have no need for a current Sting figure myself as I'd rather not remember him selling out to become a WWE jobber, but I do agree that headscan is pretty off. “I had my time. There’s no question about that. For a guy my age to be where I am right now is, to me, next to impossible. And yet, I’m here. It’s not about Sting, not anymore. You’re asking a straight-up question, I’ll give ya a straight-up answer. That’s it, and I am just fine with that.” www.rollingstone.com/sports/features/sting-speaks-the-wrestling-icon-on-joining-wwe-and-feuding-with-seth-rollins-20150916

If they made Sting with a singlet instead of the shirt torso, wouldn't you guys be complaining "I just got that Sting in Defining Moments" and "Making me overpay for two of the same Stings is ridiculous!! MATTELLLLL!!!!!" Maybe Mattel realized this and wanted to give us something different. As for the Sid torso: Didn't we end up getting a fat Rey Mysterio from jakks because people were complaining about inaccurate torsos?!?!?!? But this is Mattel, not lazy Jakks and mattel has the library of parts to make something that would better resemble Sid. If we weren't talking about a flashback, I wouldn't be so upset because if we have a gripe about a modern roster guy, they can take our feedback into consideration and make adjustments for the next release. But the fact of the matter is that this may be the only Sid we get (hope that's not the case) so sometimes it feels like we've only got one shot to make it perfect. I don't mean to sound ungrateful because I'm a mattel fan boy and I'll admit that in a heartbeat, but this one bugs me big time as Sid was in my top 5 wants. Like I said, I'm definitely getting him still but I'm going to try and repaint the hair, eyes and eyebrows to try and pull some likeness into the sculpt. Sometimes a great sculpt is there but is buried under poor paint apps. As far as the body goes...I can live with it, but if I can swap parts out pending matching skin tones then I will.

I'm not quite as excited about this set after seeing them. Bulldog and Godfather are great. Ziggler is OK, but it's pretty similar to a fix up that I made. I was excited about Sid, but his smiley face scan is a bummer. Sting is ... just not feeling it.
I still pre-ordered. No ragrets!

they don't really have a perfect torso for Sid. Kane, HHH & Bluetista torso were probably the only options. And neither is ideal.
not a lot of 6'9 guys built like Sid

One thing I will give them credit on though is they DID nail the back of Sid's hair, and I like that it's got a little length to it as opposed to the shorter look that he had at some points.
I did focus too much on the negatives, so now I will say that Bulldog is perfect in my mind. Everything on him looks so crisp and clean and just beautifully done. Likewise, Godfather is the sleeper hit. He was never one of my favorites (I was a papa shango fan) but he is pretty damn flawless, so bravo on those two. I missed out on them for the first batch, but they will look great under my Christmas tree!
Sting, I think, will look better in person at least scan wise. I think the angle of the photo and the way his head was positioned made it look squished. I see what everyone's saying about the shirt and all, but it doesn't bother me too much. I'll be happy to have a modern Stinger on my current shelf and they'll probably have a singlet version soon enough

And neither is ideal. not a lot of 6'9 guys built like Sid I agree, but I would have preferred the Kane torso, myself. Especially after a few on here pointed out the hillbilly Jim figure with the body hair. Then again, the bluetista buck might have worked too... You know what I really hate though is those damn thighs. Like, do they always have to use those exact thighs with that torso? If you look at pics of Sid, he had full thighs, not super ripped ones

Everything about that Dolph Ziggler is fine except his nose. It looks a bit big to me.

This probably seems like a nitpick but Sid is missing his socks. You could pretty much always see Sid's socks sticking up from his boots to his knee pads.

Jesus, the Sting isn't THAT bad. I really don't know about the t shirt, but I suppose that was pretty much how he dressed when he first burst onto the scene. My possibly incorrect prediction is that the head will actually look considerably better, maybe even good, in person.
Sid...I really don't think I like that head. I know the look they were going for, I'm just not sure it translates well in figure form. He looks more goofy than crazy. Looks like Triple H when they really should've just gone with the Kozlov torso. Other than those notes...it's just bad. It looks literally thrown together with what was available, no care in choosing pieces. Should have taller boots, shorter calves, and white socks jacked up to the kneepads. Very plain, regular-ass figure. I know, Sid wore black, but the little things like chest hair, the little yellow logo on the elbow pad, taller boots, and the white socks make an otherwise underwhelming figure a star.
Godfather is just awesome. Too bad I don't buy Attitude guys or I'd be all over that.
Bulldog is phenomenal, even though the head looks more like a modded David Hart Smith than Davey Boy. Certain purchase.
Mizdow looks great for what it is, and it would be a perfect addition to a Miz display...which I don't have, making this pretty pointless.
Ziggs is a strange one. The head looks kinda good in the first pic, but in the last it looks more like Adrian Adonis. I don't like silver attires so I wouldn't get it anyway, making it a non-issue. Its strange how outdated the slicked back, glowing yellow hair already seems now that I am so used to the shaggy brown with yellow tips.

This is a very nice set. Just ordered Sid for pre-order and Godfather for back-order. I will take my chances at retail with the rest, but I might end up purchasing the entire set.
