I tuned in at the beginning of the show and then the very end. Wow, what a disaster. The MNF blowout was even better than watching this crap. They literally have no star power right now or any storylines that the fans care about. The crowd was dead asleep for most of the main event. It reminded me of, like, a Goldust vs. Marc Mero main event in 1996. I can only imagine how much they're paying Taker and Lesnar for their upcoming matches.

I'm thinking the payoff of this is Big Shows retirement. Brock will retire Big Show at MSG

With all this talk I've been reading about "Vince freaking out about low ratings" I can't believe how boring & terrible RAW was tonight...
It actually got worse.... absolutely nothing of value came out of tonight's show.

I can't believe they think people care about Big Show, or seeing Lesnar/Big Show again. Especially when the supposed blowoff to their biggest story of the last three years is coming up in four weeks, and absolutely no one is talking about it.
I mean, maybe it wouldn't be a total joke if the only thing Big Show had done in the last several months was something other than losing a feud to Ryback (and by extension, The Miz.)
But of course, there's no such thing as long term booking in Vince McMahon's world, so this situation was never given any thought prior to the moment they announced it.
It's all about tonight's show, and entertaining tonight's audience. The problem is, they can't even do that anymore.

Best part of Raw tonight was Kane.
You wouldnt have caught me dead saying that a few weeks ago.

Raw sucked, and that crowd sucked just as much.

OK show, they are clearly trying new things since the ratings are down. Big E stole the show yet again. Paul Heyman cut a "pedestrian" promo by his standards.

Why can't the entire in character cast of Brooklyn Nine-Nine be guest hosts? I would absolutely love that.

As usual, things went downhill after New Day. This worries me. Going by WWE's track record, when a mid-carder(s) get themselves over, and get too much focus from fans, they tend to pump the brakes.

If you want a piece of the show that perfectly summed up everything about WWE right now, take a look at the closing shots of the show.
Wyatt and Roman have their knock-down, drag out brawl. Reigns hits the spear. Camera cuts to the crowd popping.
Nevermind that they didn't pop the whole night. Nevermind that they were bored to tears for 2 hours and 55 minutes. Nevermind that they had an established act return tonight to complete and utter silence. Nevermind that they promised a resolution to this feud and still didn't deliver one. They stood up and cheered in that one moment, and WWE was able to capture it on cameras and show it on national television as if to say, "look how awesome this is! Isn't it great! You need to be here!", and because of that, the show will be viewed as a success.
It's about singular moments and singular nights. The whole of the show and the product don't matter. What they did last week doesn't matter, what they're going to do next week doesn't matter. It's about Vince McMahon perceiving that what he's doing in this moment is going to send the fans home happy. His intentions, in that regard, are great - he wants to give people their money's worth. The problem is, the vast majority of the time, he focus is so concentrated on delivering that one moment, that everything else completely falls apart. That's what we had last night, that's what we've been having for weeks.

I was at the show last night and thought I would share my experience...
-I love the venue, it is a very intimate place and not a bad seat there -The crowd must not translate over to television very well because honestly I thought they were into it for the most part. -Biggest pop of the night was Randy Orton for some reason. Maybe becuase Bo trashed the Buffalo Bills -There were no matches that I'll look back at and even remember. Six man tag in the beginning was ok but everything else ended in DQ's or only lasted a minute or two. -Summer Rae looks really good in person -Nobody gave a crap about Wade Barrett coming back...maybe because he has been booked like a loser for years? -Big Show is hard to understand live in person -Pre-Show matches were Cesaro vs. Slator and Lucha Dragons vs. Ascension. Kalisto blew a spot pretty bad. -Disappointed that I didn't get to see Sasha Banks considering she is the best female performer in the company -Also didn't get to see Ambrose or Sheamus, and only saw Ziggler for a second.
Overall it was not a good showing. This is like 5 episodes of RAW in a row that have been below average or bad. This is also two poor RAW's for me personally in person. Hopefully next time they come around they can find a way to be a little entertaining.
