I'm so sick of this.

Everyone has a different opinion, just because you saw a few guys complaining doesn't mean everyone hates everything.

"If you don't like it, don't watch." seems to be working, because ratings are the lowest since 1997. I always found that phrase to be an asinine statement anyways. It's the equivalent of "America. Love it or leave it." I'm not going to give up on something that I love and believe in.

This isn't NFL woes, this is a problem that is going to get worse if it's not addressed. This is a fact, not an opinion. The numbers aren't personal opinions, they are facts.

They're using the nostalgia bandaid for now, but not building new stars is what's got them into this in the first place.

Look at Bray Wyatt. He carried a whole WM fued by himself, and then an established star shows up, beats him clean, and the feud is never mentioned again. What does this say to a potential newer audience? That the stars of today aren't as good as the stars of the yesteryear.

It's what helped kill WCW and it's what helped destroy TNA's credibility when the MEM made all of their stars look like chumps.

John Cena won't be around forever. If he retired right now from in-ring action, they would have no one even close to his drawing ability.

This isn't something that happened overnight, this has been culminating for years. Some people are just finally tapping out.

I'm sure some will look at this post and sneer. Well, the numbers aren't lying and say all that really needs to be said. The low house show numbers, the declining ratings... Something isn't working, and there needs to be change. Real change this time, and not just repeating it on air a hundred times.


I guess the point is "the whiny neckbeard basement living smarks" are far from the issue. WWE has a legitimate problem.



And Reigns got cheered because he was literally anyone but Batista. I like Reigns, but if you think otherwise, you're delusional.

I'm sick of the fans like you who seem to think that the internet is one collective unit. Unless you can prove to me that the same people are making contradicting complaints then this is all bullshit.

When I went to the house show a couple weeks ago and was sat beside a 6 or 7 year old kid and his parents I was transported back to when it was just fun to watch wrestling and cheer the faces and boo the heels. I miss it, I hate what the internet has done to me as a fan really.

The reason people wanted Reigns more the year before was because out of the final two, he was the younger guy. Also, he was still part of the Shield and Batista had been heavily rumored to win. The reason it has happened so much recently is that we are tired of having guys either pushed down our throats or the continued pushing of older stars. They should instead be pushing the guys who are naturally getting over. They have had chances to push Ziggler, Ambrose, Wyatt, Cesaro, Owens, Sandow, and Rusev to a higher level (multiple times for some), but decided that they need to be taught some BS lesson. The fans aren't ruining anything, they are stating "Hey, I don't care about this person whatsoever, give me something else." And instead of doing that, WWE has decided that we have become entitled because we want the guy we want the guys we like to win, even though WE are the paying consumer. It would have been like them pushing Luger over Hart, even though Hart was drawing more than Luger. This is why the ratings have been garbage and will continue to be such.
