As much as I like Balor his I dont think he's going to transition well onto the main stage. I think he'll get there eventually but to me he just doesnt have a great deal of personality.

So really what you're saying is you don't watch NXT at all besides TakerOvers, which are special occasions and the only time Balor wears the paint. Watch a weekly episode of NXT, he comes out in normal attire, no paint. He's literally already doing the exact thing you're suggesting. BUT GOOD ON YOU FOR USING CAPITAL LETTERS TO EMPHASIZE THAT YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!!! No that isn't what I am really saying. But you obviously know more about my thoughts than I do. I don't watch every NXT episode, but I do watch it occasionally. It doesn't need to be done at every Takeover. It would also look better with the weird cheap looking streamers and jester hat that don't mesh with the awesome body paint. LOUD NOISES!!!!!

all I know is, if it turned out to be Balor who took out Itami and he had no recollection of it whatsoever because "demon" balor did it, it would add so much depth to that character. it would almost be a good thing that he has weak mic skills because it makes his one personality so dull and bland while the demon side of him is mysterious and does damage.....I mean it's better than his current character who is happy and smiling and respects everybody but then dresses up like a devil for no real reason every big match

Imagine Finn Balor as an entrant in the 2016 Royal Rumble Match

He needs to vastly improve his finisher and his mic skills if he were to be a "huge star". I really don't see it.

Besides his lackluster finisher, I see nothing holding him back. Jeff Hardy was awful at promos but the fans adored him anyhow. Finn can do much of the same if booked correctly. I say put Balor in the ring with Ziggler for the US title and I'll buy tickets.

I do think Finn Balor could be a a big deal on the main roster...If they use him right. One thing is I wish he would have a different finisher.

Yes if he changed his finisher then I think he could be a bigger star but also working more on his mic skills if he does that then I think he could be much better off especially when he makes that transition to the main roster

I'll be honest, I haven't see any of his pre-NXT stuff. But what I have seen since he has been in NXT hasn't impressed me all THAT much. Yeah he's pretty good. But they use his "demon" entrance too much, to the point where it isn't special, and it's a little bit drawn out and sometimes even a little bit cringe worthy. His stature will be a huge road block for him being a main event player, as well as his accent. I want to REALLY like Finn, but as it is so far, I only kind of like him, and I haven't see anything to make me believe that he will get a main event push on the main roster. I could be wrong, but I just don't see it happening. Wanna bet your severed "lost the Jeff Hardy bet" penis?

He could at least switch things up with the body paint instead of it being that typical black and red look.

Let's wait and see, eh?
I'll be honest - I don't think so...he's a decent hand in the ring with a good look but apart from a bit of body paint every now and then, is exactly the same as he is without it...

WWE isn't in the market of making stars, he'll be jobbing to Cena/mid carders soon enough though. Don't worry.

He should avoid Vince, no one tell Vince he is Irish or else he will come out on Raw in a leprechaun outfit and do an Irish jig

I could see him being as popular as Jeff Hardy, but I just hope he is booked better than Jeff.

I could see him being as popular as Jeff Hardy, but I just hope he is booked better than Jeff. This. I pretty much see him as the Jeff Hardy for another generation. I could see him get as over as Hardy was in 08-09. The real question is will he go further than Jeff and eclispse that level. I think he has most of the tools to do so,minus mic skill.......which Hardy lacked as well. His only real enemy will be "creative" not knowing what to do with his character, and whether Kevin Dunn personally likes him (which could sour Vince) . But if Balor can improve his mic skills over time, i think the potential to be better than Hardy is very there. As things stand now though, i believe he will get over as much as Hardy in a similar role/capacity.

HHH gains more and more power each day. Look at the previous WM and how many NXT talents competed there. Its only gonna continue.

How many times has this been said about how many NXT guys? Sooner or later someone is going to have to be made a star, if only because the current stars will eventually retire.
Will it be him? That's hard to say. It'll depend on a lot of planets aligning -- injuries or other departures from the company, when Vince decides to step down, or if things get so bad that they become desperate AXS have to change something.
Should it be him? Yes. It should have been Kevin Owens and Bray Wyatt too.
