Was anything asked or mentioned about the Elite Balor or the Samoa Joe we heard about previously? Those are about the only things i expected to be shown that were absent from the photos ive seen so far.

Just saw all the pics and i'm a little worried that I could go broke since there are so many figures I want. Bayley looks amazing, I hope Sasha's face gets updated since it's a little off while the body looks spot on. I was shocked to see that a Umaga is coming out since I thought his widow didn't sign a deal.

First M$M headscan was near-perfect IMO, but then I remember him best from his NWO days.
I remember Dibiase best from 1987 to 1992 and I definitely prefer the Entrance Greats head.

Man, you guys are super rude to whoever happens to not like the things you like. No need to insult FollowtheBuzzards like that, or to say anyone pointing out inaccuracies is "bitching." Jeez. I like a lot of what was shown today. I dislike a lot too. Both are okay. There's a difference between airing criticism and acting like the sky is falling. Follow the Buzzards deserves some criticism for a pattern of crying like a baby every time there's a big reveal like this. There's actually zero reason for that. Just ignore it, otherwise you're just fostering a toxic environment. Let the man be passionate.

I really like the Dibiase laughing scan but would of liked maybe a molded green suit Dibiase but this is fine as well. The Million Dollar belt doesn't look shiny either

Those are about the only things i expected to be shown that were absent from the photos ive seen so far. Balor could be Elite 41. Joe, however, is likely much further down the road. I wouldn't anticipate an Elite of him until Summer 2016 at the earliest.

It really does seem so, but after this Elite 39 fiasco, and really a lot of comments in this thread, it seems the people who take personal offense to people not liking certain figures has let up a little, reduced to just a few. Those few are awfully vitriolic though. I'm just glad people are willing to openly talk about the bad and the good now. Dialogue is good stuff. People just need to leave their feelings at the door when it comes to these things. Hopefully I can contribute to that dialogue rather than people stifling it. You registered two hours ago. Which former member are you? Nobody. Just because someone just registered doesn't mean they haven't read the board for years. The E39 backlash here got discussed on multiple other forums I read too. You make the brand manager from Mattel quit and word gets around quick.

Ringside Fest turned into Legends Fest, what a great showing!! As a old school legends collector it was great seeing all the figures of guys from the classic era that I grew up watching. My thoughts on what was shown:
Honky Tonk Man- Totally stunned to see a Honk Tonk figure after reading on here that he had supposedly gotten out of his legends deal, which now does not appear to be true. Love the attire choice, too bad this is a basic and won't come with the matching jumpsuit.
Rick Rude- FINALLY!!! The head scan looks great but I was surprised by the attire choice, thought they might go with the multi-coloured "ravishing" tights. It looks good, not a fan of pink but will definitely be getting this figure. I hope they release a basic at some point with the ravishing tights but seeing how long it took for them to release another figure I highly doubt we will see a third one released?!
Paul Orndorff- Great looking figure that I plan on buying, was pleasantly surprised to see this. Orndorff was definitely this muscular looking, great part choices by Mattel (unlike the Sid figure whom I don't recall ever been that ripped as the figure looks, but I digress...).
M$M Ted DiBiase- Good head scan, surprised that he does not come with a suit. I thought it would have come with a molded suit, especially considering it comes with a briefcase and belt (these accessories look awkward with a figure in wrestling trunks).
Jimmy Hart- Great figure, head scan is spot on and the attire looks awesome (would like to what the face look like, only pic shown is with glasses on)
Macho Man- Great looking attire but yet another Savage figure without a shirt- what gives Mattel?! This is an elite figure that only comes with a few measly accessories (crown, scepter, glasses), that's not worth the price of an elite- especially for us international collectors that pay higher prices due to currency differences). At the very least why did they not include a molded shirt?! Happy that they went with Macho King figure for the HOF line instead of my much wanted Macho w/robe figure as this stupid line is US exclusive. Hopefully the legends line re-issue with robe (as I call it) will be released down the road in the main elite line or as DM figure?!
Cactus Jack- Not really interested in this figure but it looks better to me than the RSC exclusive figure that was previously released. I like the vest accessory, still waiting for a Mick Foley with plaid shirt to be released, this was from his days as commissioner.
Bobby Heenan- Great head scan but not really liking the attire choice- why a tuxedo?! Hopefully they release another Heenan at some point with a regular suit attire or with his trademark black jacket that had his initials embroidered on it.
Big John Studd- A first time in the line guy, great looking figure with a head scan that is spot on IMO. Like Heenan, disappointed to see that it won't be released stand alone but part of a multi-pack set. Strike off another guy from the 80s wish list, hopefully Beefcake & Valentine are next!
Mr. Perfect- Already own the basic so not that interested in this figure. Based on the photo I saw, it looks to me like this is the same as the original elite figure except for different arms and the different coloured singlet. The mid-section looks the same to me, still skinny which will probably tick off those who have been wanting Mattel to release another Mr. Perfect elite to correct this.
Andre the Giant- Another figure I was stunned to see as I had thought his contract had expired. It looks to me like the singlet is painted on instead of molded on, which would suck- can someone confirm whether his attire is painted or molded?!
Big Boss Man- I was hoping that Mattel would release an 80s Bossman basic figure at some point but did not expect a re-release of the elite figure- nice surprise! I am a bit shocked that they haven't made a SWAT attire Bossman which attitude era collectors probably would love to have in their collections.
Overall, it was another great showing from Mattel with lots of awesome figures (especially for us legends collectors). Very happy to see more legends basic figures, it would be great to see a basic figures of Bam Bam Bigelow, Jim Duggan, Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff (Sheik & Volkoff should come in a battle pack), Demolition & The Rockers. Also, since Mattel are doing re-releases, a re-release of the Kamala figure with a spear this time instead of the necklace or mask.
Great start to 2016, looking forward to see what Mattel has planned for the rest of the year. I would like to see a Jim Neidhart figure (which like others I feel is coming) and from my wishlist a Strike Force Rick Martel with 2 classic tag titles (for us international collectors who got shut out of the HOF line and are unable to get the Yoko figure that came with the belts).

I'm surprised we haven't seen a close up of Bulldog. Also, I'd love to see Perfect standing next to a more average height wrestler to compare. Standing next to Studd and Andre, it's not easy to judge. I really hope he's shorter than the Legends version. He's not. Someone who was at the show confirmed its the same tooling as legends. Just bigger arms. That sucks. When did the Legends figure come out, 2010? Early 2011 at the latest? All anyone has wanted since then is an in-scale Mr Perfect, and instead of acknowledging the mistake they just repeated it?

I'm surprised they gave us another red Flair. Maybe they should of done black tights or another shade of blue maybe.
