Definitely a shame if it happens, but I really hope they'd keep him on screen at least.

Selfishly, I want nothing more than for Bryan to be able to entertain me and continue to do what he loves so much. Realistically, though, I realize that it's probably best that he hangs it up.
One of the biggest problems seems to be that Bryan is so obsessed with putting on an incredible show that he's totally unwilling to choose his spots and taper back his style for the benefit of his health and longevity. If he can't go 100% every single night, he doesn't feel fulfilled, and that's too bad. A healthy Daniel Bryan going at 75% is still better than a large portion of the roster, and it would make the rare occasions where he does really pull out all the stops seem that much more special. I just don't think he's willing to work like that, though.
Not to mention, from a business standpoint, as much as they'd hate to admit it, WWE could really use him right now.

What a crazy roller-coaster ride his WWE career has been. Highest of highs followed by the lowest of lows.

Worse comes to worse, Bryan will leave the WWE for greener pastures and go to NJPW where the real money matches are waiting for him.
He still has plenty left in the tank.

Yeah, I'd rather see him retire while he can still live comfortably. He's one of my favorite wrestlers so it really sucks but it might be for the best.

I'm pretty sure the "worse comes to worse" in this scenario would be him dying due to a concussion or brain damage suffered in the ring... If it's time to go, it's time to go. There's been enough people in this industry pass long before they should have and with "plenty left in the tank". I'd like this one to stay around and pass on their craft. I can't help but think of another wrestler who was advised to stop wrestling due to an injury. This guy ended up opening his own wrestling school, and if I'm not mistaken, Daniel Bryan was one of his students. HBK never steps away, maybe we never get Daniel Bryan in any fashion. Just saying.

It'd be a total waste if he retired at his age, but all I'd say is just tone it down, his move set is great, it's exciting, but it's asking for concussions to happen and if he went to a more typical Eddie Guerrero style move set, he'd have many years more in the tank and go down as one of the best. The Eddie Guerrero comparison wasn't a criticism, it was purely emphasising Daniel Bryan's technical wrestling ability.

I feel so conflicted about Bryan.
Obviously, I would absolutely love to see him back in the ring, and putting on show-stealing matches. But on the other hand, if he is at risk long-term health-wise, it's best for him to just hang it up.
In all honesty, WWE desperately needs him right now, so it wouldn't shock me to see him cleared.

As much as I'd love to see Daniel Bryan continue wrestling, I want what is best for him and if that means to retire then so be it. Daniel Bryan has had such a great career in WWE that most only dream of that he can be very proud of.

I love watching Daniel Bryan wrestle. Honestly. It's a pleasure every time, but I want him alive. Knowing what we know about concussions.. If he retires, I'd understand. Worse comes to worse, Bryan will leave the WWE for greener pastures and go to NJPW where the real money matches are waiting for him. He still has plenty left in the tank. Leave WWE where doctors have told him any match could give him a concussion to wrestle in what is regarded as the stiffest company in the world. Makes enough sense.

He's better off not. He gets injured way to easily and wouldn't be beneficial to his future.

I honestly pretty much figured he was already retired.
I don't miss him on TV, so to me it's not a big deal one way or the other.

I assume him to be retired already. He has wrestled only a handful of times in almost two years.

Sorry but I have a real problem listen to a company doctor when other doctors include a world renown Doctor who is the NFL main doctor tells you that you are ok. The WWE just doesn't want to pay any more medical bills when it comes to concussions. Bryan is fine to work and the WWE is ridiculous for not allowing him to.
