If Raw continues to be as boring as it was tonight, the ratings are gonna drop below 2.0. 3 brutal hours of dull. A few good things here and there can't make up for that.

The New Day looked strong as hell during the final segment, nice to see something different. Nattie vs. Paige was good.
I can't express this enough. Sasha Banks NEEDS to be the centerpiece of the Womens division, she is so god damn great. She can play a good babyface as she showed tonight and she is dynamite as a heel, push this women now!

Beside Nattie finally winning a Match there wasn't anything on RAW i really cared about.
And as much as i like the New Day. Putting them into the US Open Challenge is just a waste of potential good Matches with guys that should have those.

I have to go back for a second and talk about how absolutely horrible and counterproductive that Pink segment was last night.
Controversy regarding the charity's effectiveness aside (I certainly have my doubts, and they wouldn't be my first choice if I were supporting this particular cause), what a terrible segment.
First of all, it was a prime example of WWE putting their brand before the product. It's not about putting on a good show, building your characters or furthering storylines, it's just about filling time with brand building corporate schilling. We know what the pink ribbon stands for. We know about the pink ring rope, you tell us every chance you get. Don't parade your talent out there with a bunch of women who look entirely uncomfortable touting about how great you are. It's condescending.
Secondly, from a talent perspective, it immediately recalls the disdain people have for Roman Reigns. Nothing about this guy has said "main eventer" for the last six or so months, but suddenly, he's better than everyone else and gets to be in the ring with the face of the company. Tell me everyone didn't see through that immediately. And even worse, don't let Roman Reigns have a microphone opposed to John Cena. All it does is expose how bad he still is and how much of a failure the experiment was. They might as well have said "here's our guy, and here's the guy who is going to replace our guy, except he's inferior in every single department in every single way imaginable, enjoy!"
Keep this garbage off of TV and start paying attention to your actual product instead of your brand, and maybe the ratings will crawl out of the toilet.

The problem is that he never seemed to be able to draw his own heat. He liked to focus on "stealing the show" more than making the crowd boo him. It's why he needed Vickie. |

I was going to get a ticket to Smackdown last minute today - I live in Philly and never miss a show - but after the last 3 weeks of TV, I'm ok with sitting at home and watching the network..
