CM Punk picked the Sharks to win after the game ended.
He lost a fan, for a few weeks anyway.

I'm content with this Cup match.
Got my birthday wish yesterday to see the Pens make the Cup, now Murray and the boys just gotta win four more games.
BUT. If they lose, it's to a team who has NEVER won the Cup. So I want the Pens to win, and I'll be sad if they don't, but it's not like they're losing to a team that's won a lot or recently. Joe deserves a Cup...let me just hope it's not at my team's expense.

While I'd love to see the Penguins win the Cup, mostly because I officially hate the Sharks after they embarrassed the Blues, I think this is the Shark's year. They looked to be in a completely different league in the Western Conference Finals. But I guess it's not so bad if Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau finally get a Cup.
Oh, by the way, how many "I don't want to talk about it" cards do Blues fans get? Because I feel like we all deserve closets full of them.

That should be the equivalent of a Cup victory. Therefore, you get zero cards.

I find it amusing that either Reimer or Kessel will be lifting up the Cup their first year out of Toronto lol, they must be very pleased

As much as I'd be all for Sid getting a 2nd Cup, the prospect of Pavelski getting the cup from Bettman at home and handing it to Thornton who would then hand it to Marleau (or vice versa) would be too awesome of a sight.
Edit: I also realized that Dainius Zubrus has been around since 96-97 and has yet to get a ring too.

It's easy to root for a team that's never won the Cup before in hope they get that monkey off their back, but like you said, I don't want it to be at the expense of the Pens.

SURVIVAL! Matt Murray you fantastically sexy majestic beast. I wonder if they Trade Fleury at the draft if Murray leads up to the cup. Flames offer the Dallas 2nd Round Pick + Wothorspoon

Flames offer the Dallas 2nd Round Pick + Wothorspoon Unless Murray literally falls to pieces and gets chased the next four games and every game he plays next season until the draft, I think it's fair to already say that Matt Murray has successfully unseated Marc-Andre Fleury as the starting goaltender for the Pittsburgh Penguins. That being said, Flower is a fantastic regular season goalie who may be the biggest choke artist in history in the playoffs. Will someone risk a lot on him?

That's why id give what I offered.a 50sometjing overall pick and fringe nhler. Lol I think if the Pens lose they night still keep Fleury the next year as a tandem
