I think it was a worked shoot. There's probably not a ton of hard feelings but those guys go wayyyyy back and I'm sure Show remembers that jackknife

That was the last time a Bog Show entrance was somewhat interesting.

I didnt even think of that The only time I remember hearing anything about plavix was when he was gonna do the program with punk Just googled it a bit and found this: Love cheese.com/general-wwe/553969-kevin-nash-hoping-big-show-feud-talks-wwe-developmental-more.html EDIT: Looks like WFigs censored the name of that forum so I'll just quote what was said: - In a new interview with John Pollock of The Fight Network, Kevin Nash says he hopes to face Big Show at this year’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view and talks about almost doing something with Show at the WrestleMania 27 pay-per-view last month. Nash notes that it wouldn’t have been fair to take the WrestleMania spot of another WWE Superstar who had been waiting on their first WrestleMania. Regarding his WWE return at the Royal Rumble earlier this year, Nash said those few moments were better than anything that happened to him during his five year stint with TNA. Nash also talks about how Shawn Michaels (who he thinks won’t ever return), other veterans and himself may get involved with WWE’s developmental process that Triple H is currently heading up.

I had to laugh when he said that about not want to take a young wrestlers spot I don't believe that from him for a minute lol

Whether he means it or not, Nash makes a ton of sense there.

Was anybody really thirsting for Kevin Nash vs. Big Show in 2011 anyway?

Nash and Show were meant to have a match at that year's WM. It was likely nixed for the same reason that Nash/Punk would be later in the year, Nash was taking Plavix and it caused him to fail WWE's medical testing.

Oh, I absolutely know that. I was saying it because a lot of people honestly feel that nostalgia > all. Instead of wanting to see the current crop of stars become something, they'd rather just live in the past and see the stars of yesteryear, way past their primes, get the TV time.

Instead of wanting to see the current crop of stars become something, they'd rather just live in the past and see the stars of yesteryear, way past their primes, get the TV time. I suppose that depends on how you feel about the current crop of talent. If was watching Billy Graham and Bruno take spots from Roddy Piper and Jimmy Snuka for example in 1985, i'd be pretty annoyed. However when WWE's roster starts to resemble an indy fed, yea i see why people would rather watch Nash hobble out and give whatever he has left. Ideally i think everyone would rather watch a bunch of great wrestlers in there late 20's- early 30's in their prime, but you have to be able to connect with them as characters first and foremost. Most of these guys in WWE today can't chew bubblegum and walk at the same time, let alone cut a good promo. How many people honestly watch for workrate anyways? I look at it like this, if a nostalgia match isn't a trainwreck and pops the crowd with some good spots and psychology, no harm no foul.

I mean, Was anybody really thirsting for Kevin Nash vs. Big Show in 2011 anyway? nope. Kevin Nash already almost killed him once with a powerbomb I'd rather not see him try it again on the grandest stage of em all

Would it have been cool? Yeah Should it have happened? hell no
