Just picked this up on the bay for $52 shipped. It is signed by Spike but I'm not too certain if it's legit or not, either way I'm happy with the purchase. Is that a good price for that set? I've seen it in the $100+ range.

It's a pretty rare figure, and if it's a legit signature, I say it was worth it.

Did Kmart really get that belt? From what I remember,it was a Kmart exclusive that they cancelled,then KB bought and sold them at discount. Maybe I'm wrong, but I have it in my mind that I bought it at KB in the mall and it was an item the non-mall stores didn't have.

For anyone who doesn't know the story behind RA Spike, this figure was quite the oddity, because it hit store shelves something like a year after Spike parted company with WWE. And he wasn't signed to a legends deal or anything. So either they were all manufactured when he was under contract and for some inexplicable reason just sat around in a warehouse for about a year, or they were manufactured later under potentially questionable legalities.
Nevertheless, Spike fans were extremely pleased it came out (if extremely surprised) because the only other Jakks Spike figure at the time was the HIDEOUS TTL version, which had one of the worst headscans ever (to the point that the WF community originally thought it was a bad custom). The RA modern Spike had a pretty good headscan though.

Jakks spike is def one of my favourite jakks figures

They were practically giving them away at kb back in the day. Still have mine that probably cost me around 10 bucks.

I remember that figure, I took the long way to Kansas City because one of the towns that way I had seen a KB about a couple of month before but when I went up looking for this figure the store had closed so I was never able to get this figure.
