Simple stuff. What annoys you most about wrestling? I had to make a list but I left off WWE's 50/50 booking, which is a major problem.
5) New Japan booking - I've only been watching New Japan for about a year or so, but I've already grown tired of the booking patterns. The fact that since 2011, only three men have held the IWGP Heavyweight Title is not really a good thing. Add in that Shinsuke Nakamura, who could move to the Heavyweight Title picture, is the perpetual Intercontinental Champion is problematic. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Bad Luck Fale and Hirooki Goto all defeated Nakamura for the belt and all dropped it back to him without having successful defenses against anyone else. Kota Ibushi has loads of potential and could be a breakout star. The guy had a great performance in the G1, came incredibly close to winning the IC Title at Wrestle Kingdom 9 and was close to beating AJ Styles for the big belt in April. Since then he's lost to Togi Makabe wit the NEVER Title on the line and seems to be a guy that can't win the big one. Now we got Ishii/Makabe again. Guys like Katsuyori Shibata and Tetsuya Naito don't really ever have anything to fight for because the titles are controlled by the same crop of people. How badass would a NEVER Title match have been between Shibata and Ibushi as a rematch of their G1 classic? Don't even get me started on the tag and Jr. divisions. The tag division is weak (and having Shibata and Goto drop the titles in a month earlier this year sucked), while the Jr. Tag goes back and forth between the same three or four teams. The Jr. Heavyweight Title should have been KUSHIDA's to run with, but it's just back on Kenny Omega. It's so stagnant, but the in ring product is good enough to keep me around.
4) Main roster Divas booking - In NXT, the women are properly built up and handled like stars. On the main roster, it's quite the opposite. Just saying we have a "DIVAS REVOLUTION MAGGLE" isn't enough to make it a reality. You can't bring up three girls at once and book them all to be relevant, especially when you're doing this in meaningless six woman tag after meaningless six woman tag. In NXT, each girl got a different chance to shine and develop until they were important, which isn't happening on the main roster. As a massive Sasha Banks fan, it is so frustrating to watch this. They won't let this organically happen and they try to force it while they're booking it like shit. If this was done even just slightly better, it could be so much more. So far, this "revolution" has failed and it doesn't seem to be turning around anytime soon.
3) Eva Marie - There is not a single thing about this girl that I enjoy. She's awful in the ring, terrible even when speaking, has no facial expressions while wrestling and is getting far more shine than she deserves. No, I don't even find her that attractive, since the mannequin look that she has is a big turn off for me. I watch Total Divas with my girlfriend and she's even unbearable on that, being the worst thing about the show. Everything about this woman is terrible.
2) Over reliance on the old guard - This bugs me to no end. I understand why the part-timers are used and get that they bring in viewers that may have left the company. But the over reliance on the stars of yesterday is annoying. If people like Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and a few other stars would be properly built, there would be no need to over rely on these guys. I had and still have no interest in the Undertaker/Brock Lesnar feud. I'd rather Brock work with the current crop of stars to help them. Wasting a ton of time at WrestleMania on an overly long Rock/HHH/Steph/Rousey segment was awful and the thought of Rock/HHH at WM 32 is enough to make me vomit. Look at Bray/Undertaker this year. Bray carried the entire feud by himself, jobbed to Taker and it was forgotten about. Could you imagine if the stars from the 90's kept jobbing to the stars of the 80's? None of them would have amounted to much.
1) The Young Bucks - There aren't enough words in the English language to describe how much I am annoyed by the Young Bucks. When I say I dislike them, people try to say that I "don't like fun things". I love having fun when I watch wrestling. I enjoy the crapof a guy like Toru Yano because he's fun. What the Young Bucks do isn't fun. From their douchebag attitude to their incredibly over hyped in ring work, I just can't stand seeing them. People call them the top tag team in the world and they wouldn't even crack my top ten. That style of wrestling doesn't appeal to me and anytime I watch them, I get irritated. Watching them on ROH TV is the worst though, as every time Steve Corino shouts "SUPERKICK" I want to stab myself.
