During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, UFC Fighter Ronda Rousey was asked if she's ready for WWE. Here's what she said:
"I'm ready. I've seen NXT, I remember Nattie and Charlotte's match for the title. Nattie was actually training with the original Four Horsewomen to get ready for that fight. I have so many obligations, but I really want to find a way to make it happen. I'm a huge fan wrestling, and I would like to see the position of women in the sport continue to improve, so if I can be a part of it, great."
She also talked more about WWE's decision to focus more on the Divas division:
"I'm really encouraged by the progress I've seen with what they're doing with the women in WWE, but I feel like there's a lot more than can be done. They're doing some of it now, too. I'm really excited that they've brought up all these great women from NXT, who are all different from the normal mold they would use for the Divas division. I'm not going to take credit for anything, but I definitely want to be part of it as much as I can."
Sounds to me like she is a HUGE fan, you can tell just by the way she talks about wrestling. She really knows her stuff. She honestly would be the final cog in the wheel if this divas revolution was to really get going. Although, I have no idea what kind of ability she would have in the ring, but she is athletic enough to the point where I don't see the transition being that difficult for her. Honestly I could see her being the next Kurt Angle, except in the divas division. Please make this happen!!!

If she would be a full time participant then fine. But if she would be a celebrity guest then no thanks.

Doesn't matter if she wants to wrestle
She has a Boss and he's gonna say no

Don't forget this tidbit:
If she will be at WrestleMania 32:
"Uh, well, I'm going to be filming at that time – and I don't want to ruin any surprises anyway. If you're a wrestling fan, you'll just let it happen."
Speculators, speculate!

My problem is, she's like the Brock Lesnar of women. No one looks credible against her. It would hurt her character to have long matches with nattie and the four horsewoman(as much as I love them) when she's making pro female ufc fighters tap in 32 seconds

While I would love to see this happen, it is simply just unbelievable.
You cant have her running roughshot in UFC then come to WWE and lose to any diva on the roster.

Have her basically be the female Brock Lesnar and destroy Steph right out of the gate, but instead of ending it early be 'putting on a show'. Then the ref gets taken out/knocked down, and the Bella's or whoever come out on behalf of Steph and gang up on her. 1v1 it'd be nearly impossible to give her a credible challenge but a 4v1 sneak attack you could sell. Have Steph then try and take advantage, Rousey finds her second wind after a 'lil bit and cleans house, and then makes Steph tap, the crowd goes wild. I could see that happening. If she came in full time they'd have to find some way of selling the competition (although if she was full time she wouldn't be doing UFC, and thus part of being a pro wrestler is allowing there to be competition) but for a one off I think they could go that kind of route

IF Rousey gets clearance to compete in a one-off singles match, it would be against Stephanie McMahon. And it would likely be a Lumberjill Match so the heels could try to help Stephanie, and the faces could provide Ronda some backup. That way Stephanie doesn't look completely outmatched, and Ronda can still look like a beast in her comeback without actually slaughtering all the heels.

I like her and have nothing at all against her, but I don't think she could ever do much in WWE. So say she comes in and who would she face at Mania...Stephanie? Stephanie is not a fighter/wrestler and we are supposed to believe that she can hang in the ring with one of the most dangerous unarmed women on the planet? Or are we supposed to buy that Nikki Bella can out wrestler her and pin her? Ronda would never be able to have a credible opponent in WWE, unless she would break the barrier and take on the men for the other titles.

I think a mixed tag match would be most likely; that's what I've been expecting ever since the WM31 segment. The Rock and Rousey vs. Triple H and Steph. That way she doesn't have to do much in the ring, and the match wouldn't look quite as lopsided.

Nothing but positives can come out of this. Ronda Rousey is the biggest athlete in the world right now, and if she wants to be involved with WWE in any capacity, it paints them in a tremendously positive light. Anyone who gets in the ring with her is immediately solidified as a legitimate star, even in a loss.

I might be in the minority here, but I am not a fan of her's or that interested in seeing her appear. I get from a business standpoint why they would want her, I am just not all that interested in seeing it.

That's because Stephanie is the only woman in the company booked to look like a match for Ronda Rousey. Also, Ronda made $6 million in the UFC last year. If she were to be a fulltime wrestler, why would she wrestle in NXT for a fraction of that amount?

Unless Dana signs off on it, I snort with derision at Rousey competing in the WWE.
* snorts derisively *

You want to sell out a 100,000 seat stadium? You get Ronda Rousey.
No Rock vs. Triple H singles match or Brock Lesnar fight will get you 100,000 before Ronda does.

I don't want her a diva because shes far from one.I think she should play a Mike Tyson role and be a special enforcer in a match.

If WWE can book old-ass Undertaker to look like he stands a chance against Lesnar, then they can book a Diva like Nikki or Paige to do the same against Ronda.
