A lot of people like to give her crap for silly reasons but she definitely has been a top consistent performer in the WWE Divas division.

Looking at the past year who else would deserve BUT Nikki Bella?? Having the longest reigning Divas Title reign in recent memory, great matches with the likes of AJ Lee, Brie, Paige, Charlotte and others. That is great for her!

It's a kayfabe magazine and she had the best kayfabe year of any female. The only kayfabe competition for her would be Sasha Banks, who held the NXT Title for most of 2015 and had some tremendous matches.
To be fair to her, even if it went based on ability only, I think Nikki would still be top five on the main roster.

Props to Nikki, she has improved. But if you are truly asking the question of who had a better year? Sasha Banks hands down. Sasha and many other women could have done what Nikki did, but nobody could have done what Sasha did except Sasha. She made history. But do I have a problem with Nikki getting it? no, not really

I'm a huge Sasha banks fan, but this thread has absolutely nothing to do with her.
