Please keep Sheamus away. That's all I ask.

This makes me so sad.
The only thing that can ease the pain is Owens or Ambrose winning the title. But it will be Reigns which I'm fine with im just pretty bummed that Rollins isn't going to get a legit ending to his Reign.
He'll get a mega pop when he returns i guarantee it. This may be a blessing in disguise because everyone is going to realize they miss him sooner or later. It has happened to so many heels over the years...

if the WWE had any stones they would stop rushing everything and put the damn WWE title up for the winner of the Royal Rumble. That would be incredible.
You sell the idea that Reigns can win the #30 entry by beating someone at Survivor Series. Then use the next 2 months to actually create excitement for the title. Instead they are just gonna put the belt on Reigns and say "here ya go" then watch the ratings fly!! amiright?
the fact that Seth's title reign ended like this is just a damn shame. and this is what happens when you book a wrestling show around 2 people. now both of them are out and your left with a bunch of guys who have done nothing but trade wins and losses for the past year+, the guys the live audiences actually care about get buried constantly, and we have to scramble in one night to crown a new champion
this is literally the worst thing that's happened since the last night Punk was on WWE tv

Well, this sucks for Seth and for a lot of fans who were enjoying his run as champion.
The WWE could take the obvious route and giving us "surprise" returns of Orton and Cena feuding for the title yet again. Or it could put the belt on Reigns and hope his promos suddenly improve a lot.
Personally, I compare the timing of Seth's injury along with the absence of Cena, Orton, and Bryan to '96-'98 when a lot of major stars left due to injuries or bigger money in WCW. Now is the time for everybody to step up and do their best work in the ring AND on the mic. Owens, Cesaro, Ambrose, and Wyatt are all poised to take the top spot with others like Ziggler, Russev, and Reigns a step behind due to bad promo skills or crappy storylines or unsuccessful pushes in the past. It is also the time to consider possible role changes like Reigns taking Seth's spot as the Authority supported heel champion and Ambrose or Cesaro taking Reign's role as the anti-authority contender.
Another possible route would be to throw a pile of money at an established star to come back full time between now and Wrestlemania so they can get one more title run before they "pass the torch" to a new star at Wrestlemania. There are plenty of candidates like Brock, Jericho, the Rock, RVD, or even Kurt Angle or Jeff Hardy if it is possible to get them away from TNA. Jericho could be great in the role of the Authority's heel champion going into WM and we know he has no problem losing to a future star to help push their career.

Semi Finals: Roman defeats Owens & Ambrose defeats Del Rio
Finals: Reigns vs Ambrose. They start the match with a handshake. Ambrose cheats to pin Roman. Feud begins. Ends at Royal Rumble where Roman finally wins the title.

idc who wins the title as long as its not cena. the last thing we need is vince to bring cena back early & give it to him. i like the idea of it being up for grabs in the rumble

This sucks big time. Hope they can improvise in a way that it can be interesting the months of his absence.

Wow, that's crazy AND disappointing. I really like Rollins; he's always been my favorite member of the Shield. I guess this means Roman's getting the title a bit sooner than anticipated which I'm not particularly against. I mean, I'd rather see Sheamus have it, but he'll get his time.
There is one good thing to take from this though. I literally have no idea what's going to happen after Survivor Series and that excites me, especially with the Rumble coming closer and closer.

Probably the worst news that could have happened in WWE right now. Like an NFL team losing their franchise QB. Rollins has been the most consistent and entertaining part of RAW/PPVs for quite some time. This totally sucks ass. Looks like no Triple H/Rollins WrestleMania match.

As much as I like tournaments, they should keep the title vacant and then put it up for grabs at the Royal Rumble. For those of us that remember, thinking about how awesome it was in 1992 to see the Champion crowned at the Rumble. Not only that you could get a ton of surprises entered in the Rumble where you cant with a tourney.
This. The 92 Rumble is still one of my most favorite events of all time.

This is terrible news for Rollins, undoubtedly but could be a blessing in disguise for the WWE. Forces their hand to make some new stars (hopefully).
I agree that crowning a new champ at Survivor Series is a bit rushed. I'd hold it off and build up the possible contenders more.
If it was my decision.... I'd have Cesaro win the title and maybe join the authority in the process.

All of the massive bumps we've seen Seth Rollins take and yet it's something so simple that injures him. Which is the case most of the time, always something stupid.

Well either Reigns or Sheamus will win it, or Cena comes back early for 16. I'd love to see Wyatt win it and the family dominate the WWE but that's too much thinking for creative.

And now that I think about it, I really hope Sheamus doesn't try to cash in after the tournament. That would just make the whole thing a waste; having a tournament just to have Mr. MITB pick up the scraps. if he's going to cash in on this, I'd hope he does it before. Agreed. It would be like in 2011 when Rey won a tournament for the title, only to lose it to Cena an hour later. Made the whole thing pointless...which is why I'm sure creative will do it.
