i came to a conclusion that neutral facescans get to me more. it seems like mattel nails a facescan if the superstar is scanned like this  but that's not necessarily true in some cases. for example Regal E8 has an angry face and his basic has a neutral face. yet the angry one looks more like him. taker e14 face looks more like him than e18, but maybe its just me. on the other hand, people like ziggler , rollins and reigns came out more realistic when theyre mouth was closed. e36 ambrose is an example of a wild expression worked to a perfection, meanwhile e37 lesnar is pretty ridiculous . i found myself buying basics just for the headscans and most of the time they were neutral faces. what do you think works best and which do you prefer? overly happy like e38 bryan? overly angry like taker or regal? or bland like bp vince \ e36 wyatt? give examples for cases in which a facescan with an expression is better than a neutral one of the same person |

I like whatever fits the character's personality better. I don't want to see Brock, Austin or Orton smile, but it works for Bryan and The Rock. Neutral can be alright but I'd rather not have blank, expressionless faces.  Yeah, it looks like Kane, but it also looks like Kane waiting patiently in a lobby. Gimme a little emotion. Mean mugging, angry snarl, evil smirk most anything but just existing Kane. Ryback's a big roidy magoo. His figures should reflect intensity not sedation.  |

Depends. On the wrestler.
With Triple H - I love the angry DM scan. Warrior I like the yelling scan more, but for the most part I like your basic straight face.

The examples are ridiculous.
you can't "scan" somebody for how they looked 20 years ago. E18 Undertaker is from a look 15 years ago.
The scanning technology today is ridiculously accurate. There is no excuse for current wrestlers having poor scans.
The older ones, there is obviously going to be some that are technically difficult.

I agree, for instance AJ Lee's figs usually don't go farther than a smirk because that's what she did most of the time, but Brie Bella or Paige scream as part of their gimmicks, so a shouting expression would work for them as well as a neutral. Actually, now that I think about it, I'd love to see a Charlotte with a "WOO!" scan. |

I said other as it depends on the character, I.e. Reigns works with any, Wyatt is better smiling, etc.

eh it depends on what the figure represents. I enjoy Zigglers screaming face unlike other people cause I have it representing when he cashed in on Del Rio for the title so he is screaming in excitement so it makes sense to me. I also like Punks smirk face but hate Wyatts crazy eyes scan. I do agree that guys like Kane and Ryback need a more lively scan.

i went neutral , but i do like smiles and anger on certain people though. i love smiling Macho Man as oppose to neutral Macho.
