Granted that it WAS a taped show and all, so this really isn't much of a surprise. But Raw's ratings have been a very interesting topic as of late, so I was curious as to what you guys think of this.

So clearly this isnt a "one off" drop. Which means WWE needs to do something QUICK. They are approaching mid 90s pre attitude era ratings.

I turned it on and saw Big Show fighting Reigns AGAIN then I turned it off and never bothered to go back and watch any more. Later I read results online and didn't feel like I missed anything.

The whole show was crap easily predicable match ups. Crowd seemed dead. The only saving grace was an undertaker appearance in which they made the entire Wyatt family look weak af...

This is my 2 cents to the whole situation,
TV is consumed in many different ways these days, through torrents, youtube, etc. So I don't think the popularity of the WWE is at an all time low at all, I just feel that people don't want to watch a 3 hour show while NBA, NFL, NHL and other programs are on at the same time when they can wait until their game of sport if finish or whatever and by then the youtube videos that pretty much show most of each match and promo will be on youtube so they can watch it there. Also I assume this time of year almost every year the ratings are low as often the product is stale and boring until the Rumble and the RTWM kicks off. So in saying that, why not give someone like Owens, Ambrose or Ziggler a run with the title until the Rumble where there they can set up their WM plans? Give us someone fresh as a champ, who is young and has never held it. How much could it hurt really? Give someone the ball and see what they do with it, will they run a smart play, drive to the basket and lay it up or will they slam it down with an emphatic jam? You will never know unless you give them the ball first. That's just my two cents.

When a show like Love and Hip Hop is trouncing you in the ratings, and the corruption filled cesspool of adultery, domestic violence and general thuggery that is the NFL are running wild in the ratings, I think it's time to change philosophy and go with a more adult orientated format.
