I hope so because I think he's really good and it would be nice to have a (Fully) African American Champion.I wanna see more diversity for WWE Champions so everyone can have someone represent each culture because the talent is out there and each culture should have the chance to shine.I wanna see Blacks,Latinos,Chinese, etc all represent that belt because this is called the WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP. The fact that the belt is called the World Heavyweight Championship has nothing to do with a person's race.

I'm pretty sure it's called a world title because it's defended all over the world.

It's called the World Championship because it's defended around the world, not because it represents everyone in the world. That's like saying it's called World Wrestling Entertainment because it employs people of varied races.

That's cool that you see it that way. Being world champion means you're the Champion of a company that has you defend the belt all over the world.

No, it's not. "World" is meant to associate with the fact that WWE is a global brand. It's broadcasted in a ton multiple countries, and yearly tours around the world occur. If the purpose of "World" was to promote having the best talent on the globe under one promotion, then we would all be talking about the chances of AJ Styles and Zack Sabre Jr. winning the WWE Title tournament.

Don't see all this charisma, people keep banging on about him having. Fine in the ring, but no personality to speak of.

I like him. Great charisma and look. Just would give him a more impactful finisher instead of the Gorilla Press/standing Moonsault finisher that he uses all the time. Just wouldn't look good in Championship matches. People like to see iconic moves and that's not it. Works great as a signature combo - like Cena's Spin-out side Powerbomb/5 Knuckle Shuffle. Also a submission finisher would serve him well as a secondary. Eh, I like the moonsault. It's like a new and improved version of the Warrior Splash.

Yes he can, he has the look Vince loves, he can work and he's a decent promo. His hight will be a non factor since he looked like a body builder.

I think he has a very good shot of winning the WWE Title one day.
Reigns with the NXT, IC and or US are also givens imo.
He is a great wrestler so I look forward to seeing him in NXT and I know I'll like him on the main roster.

People can make comments about Vince being racist, but had Lashley not left, it's a given he was a future WWE champion. Vince loved that guy.

I like him. But as long as he drops the smiling, happy go lucky, high giving typical super babyface crap, he could have EVERYONE being behind him.

I'm saying that it is 2015 and there hasn't been one yet. And I think it is because Vince fears having his family's championship on a black man. Why? I don't know that answer but there is a bit of a mystery because they've never had one. And some of you can't think of a black man that should have held the WWE Championship? Booker T should have and anyone who argues otherwise, IMO, is wrong. Even if he is the only one to "deserve" it. So in all of WWE's history, Booker T is the one example you can come up with who should have been WWE champion, yet somehow you have decided the reason that there's "never" been a black WWE champion is that Vince fears "his family's championship" on a black man? That's some fascinating insight. If Vince is that afraid of African-American DNA touching "his family's belt" how did this happen? Plus, "Vince's family's championship" covers all of the other championships in WWE too. Here's his family's crown on a black man, for example: Wonton and beef stew.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say you didn't read anything else I've said in this thread. So after all the time to try to "show me up" by downloading pictures, you completely wasted your time. Thanks though.

Vince nor the WWE are racist. Stop it.
I'm so sick of this argument and splitting hairs over the WWE title or the World title. It's the same f*cking company.
You think Mark Henry would've spent the past 20 years working for racists? You think Booker T, D-Von Dudley, etc. would be working for a racist company when they have the choice to work elsewhere?
Give me a break. Has WWE had stupid gimmicks? Yes. Saba Simba was trash. However, so was Hornswoggle being a leprechaun, Becky Lynch doing river dance and The Headshrinkers acting like they have mental illness and don't wear shoes. Bad gimmicks are not attached to one race.
WWE loves money. Period. Regardless of race. When that black star comes, he will be pushed to the moon.
They tried with Ahmed Johnson. He sucked and was injury prone. They tried with Bobby Lashley. He left when they fired his gf. They tried with Faarooq. His promos and ring work were well below average. They gave Mark Henry a world title run. They gave Booker T a world title run. Who knows? Had they been on different shows, it may have been the WWE title. It all counts as world title runs anyway, it makes no difference.
