If it wasn't for Eddie Guerrero I wouldn't be a wrestling fan today, watching him in 2004 is what got me hooked. And I still remember logging on to WWE.com at the time and seeing that he passed away. No wrestler's death has hit me harder than his, his death was the only one I've shed tears for. RIP

I remember getting up, and seeing the headline on WWE's site and in this board. It was so unreal to me. That "Hurt" Tribute video always gets me, and I watch it every Nov 13th.
R.I.P Eddie, you are still missed. One of the all time greats.

Definitely one of the most talented and entertaining wrestlers I've ever had the pleasure of watching perform. He's still very much missed.

Having watched Eddie from his WCW days to his untimely death, the man was simply amazing. It's a shame he left us right after finally making it to the top. He lied, cheated, and stole our hearts.

I hadn't even thought about this until I went to break at work earlier today. I was scrolling through Facebook and came across a picture of Eddie and then I noticed the song playing on the store's radio...Here Without You by 3 Doors Down. I always associate that song with Eddie because of the tribute video on WWE tv.
I first heard of Eddie's death that night as I was getting off work. I had just clocked out and was getting ready to leave and go to my Grandma's house for her birthday. A friend of mine ran into me at the store, and told me about Eddie. I then went to my Grandma's and broke the news to my family. The next night, I remember my little sister and I both crying as they did the ten bell salute and video tribute to Eddie.
Since then, my Grandma has passed away. With it being the anniversary of Eddie's death and her birthday, November 13th is always a sad day for me.

Watched his title win from No Way Out vs. Lesnar. What great storytelling. Eddie was one of the best.

I was just getting into wrestling around that time and remember his matches with Rey Mysterio were what made me a fan. RIP Eddie.

Seeing everyone's responses makes me feel kinda old seeing so many say they didn't really get into wrestling until around 2004. But any time is a good time
RIP Eddie

I have always loved wrestling for as long as I remember (since I was about 5-6, circa 90-91). The characters, stories, presentation, everything. But of all the wrestlers (or "superstars") that I've ever liked or marked out for, there was only ever one that I could say I loved and that was Eddie. I don't usually get personal on message boards like this but I am Mexican-American and I am VERY ashamed to say so (for reasons that will NOT be up for discussion here) but Eddie Guerrero is and has has been the ONLY reason I was ever proud to be Mexican. He is and always will be my favorite wrestler of all time. I was also privileged to see him face Kurt Angle in an episode of Smackdown at the Allstate Arena on April 14th 2005. I was so happy WWE included the match on the Legacy of Eddie Guerrero DVD so I can relive it over and over. My fiance is currently 9 months pregnant with our baby boy. I am naming him Eddie.

Saw a live Rey Mysterious March last night. He got on the mic and told Matt Hardy (his opponent) they were gonna hit one out of the park for Eddie.
Eddie chants all match long
RIP.

Can't believe it's been 10 years already, I was devastated when one of my friends had told me at school. And while it's one of the best WWE produced videos they've made, I still find it hard not to feel choked up whenever I watch his tribute video. R.I.P Eddie! Still miss Eddie
