It's been exactly 10 years since Eddie Guerrero passed away.

Can't say it's hard to believe it's been that long, because the wrestling landscape has changed so much since 2005 with only a couple of bodies still around in ring from that time (Orton, Cena, Taker, Kane, Show, Jericho part time). Still, came as a massive shock to me. Watched SmackDown Thursday, Kennedy crushing him with a chair for their feud, then three days later, gone.
The night before he passed, I was at WalMart and picked up a Best of WCW Eddie because I didn't have an Eddie. Didn't open it because it was late when I got home, and when I woke up the next day and read he died it was like "WHAT?!"
It sits MOC on my display to this day.
I miss Papi. Know he'd be long retired by now had he not passed, but still.

I just read this in the comment section of a wrestling site. It is really sad that Eddie has been gone for so damn long! RIP.

Can't believe it's been 10 years already, I was devastated when one of my friends had told me at school. And while it's one of the best WWE produced videos they've made, I still find it hard not to feel choked up whenever I watch his tribute video. R.I.P Eddie!

Can't believe it's been ten years, but at the same time that era of wrestling feels decades ago.
RIP Eddie, forever missed.

Words can't describe the shock I went through that day. I remember where I was when I found out Eddie Guerrero had passed away.
Go listen to Talk Is Jericho with Chavo Guerrero Jr., and Dean Malenko today.

Never have I taken a wrestlers death so hard. Eddie is probably my all time favorite and was pretty devastated when I read he died.
I got to see his second to last match. I went to a Smackdown house show on that Monday before he died. I remember it was kind of on a whim and I wasn't sure if I wanted to because I'd miss Raw (and SD was awful at the time). Now obviously I'm glad I did since 6 days later he was gone.

10 years ago, the world was robbed of the greatest all-around talent of a generation. Charisma, technical skill, agility, Eddie had it all. My true favourite of all time and the man who inspired me to become a wrestler.
RIP Eddie.

Eddie Guerrero was phenomenal. I just remember that my sister lost it and bawled her eyes out when she heard. Eddie was the man. I'm gonna watch some of his matches today as tribute.

I honestly think about him whenever I watch any wrestling.
He left a void I don't think will ever be filled.

Never liked him. Ever. Haven't enjoyed a single of his matches. Always been 'that' wrestler for me that I just can't stand. Feel for his family, though.
