I still like Paige, but she's such a disappointment. Here's a girl who I felt had a very distinctive look and the ability to become a monumental figure for women's wrestling.
She's just not as good as I wish she was.

I like her....but yeah, she hasn't been great in the main roster. She has talent but the last few months, it's like she doesn't care for whatever reason. Maybe NXT can rejuvenate her like it did Emma?

Her ring work and interviews have been sub par lately, and that is unfortunate because I believe she is capable of being much better, and has been in the past. I don't know the reason behind it, whether it is her getting lazy, or being burned out, or just feeling that she doesn't need to work as hard, but with the infusion of talent to the Divas roster, she really ought to step her game up. Some poor booking and writing hasn't helped the matter, but she has been very disappointing the last several months as far as wrestling goes.

Another thing about Paige is that she's not really fit for a corporate setting like WWE. I don't see why she is continuously sent to do media when she can hardly behave herself and watch what she says.

I don't see how she was awful last night. The match was more of a brawl, but there was some good technical stuff in there. And if I'm given a choice of watching Paige and Charlotte or Sasha/Charlotte or Sasha/Bayley wrestle, I'm picking the first option every day of the week.

I never liked Paige in the first place, I knew she was going to be awful the moment she botched her finishing move against AJ in her first Raw Debut.

Part of the issue with Paige is her booking (like everyone's) has been terrible but also she hasn't lit the world on fire in the ring recently.

I've never gotten into Paige. She had the hype machine behind her hard when he was called up but i honestly cant find a great match from her since being called up.

Because she hasn't been all that good since her call up. I will say that hype behind her in NXT was warranted since she was awesome there. |

I also agree that Paige technically wasn't bad last night. The issue was that the match made no sense. It was the fault of Paige, Charlotte and the producers who decided to have a regular match instead of something that fit the story. Of course, because it's you, you have to throw in a jab at Sasha and Bayley to try to get a rise out of people. Even if you enjoy Paige/Charlotte more, at least Sasha/Bayley and Sasha/Charlotte made, you know...sense. |
