After reading about someone who thinks that people like Rollins, D-Bry, and (possibly) Finn Balor shouldn't be world champion, I thought about it, does size matter to you guys?
To me, I could care less about size, unless it's something like Hornswoggle vs. Big Show. If the guy is over enough, and a good enough talent, then hell yeah, let them be champ.

It really depends on how the wrestler is booked.
Daniel Bryan can be the biggest underdog ever and win the world title and I'm fine. However, if big show loses in 30 seconds to Nyone he shouldn't be champion ever. Stuff like that is what bothers me.
Like Sheamus. While I'm glad that Roman isn't champion Sheamus was getting his ass handed to him by an uso, a Lucha Dragon, and the worst wrestler of all time earlier in the show. Then he wins the championship. You can't have a big guy look like crapconstantly and then give him the world title. Just like a small guy has to be booked as overcoming the odds or it isn't believable if they beat a larger wrestler.

Size doesn't really matter to me at all. It's all about the performance. Part of the hypocrisy of the WWE is "Oh this is just entertainment, let's acknowledge that all the time! Wait, he's too small! That's not believable!" Uh, okay....

Lou Thesz was the greatest champion of wrestling history & was only considered tall among normal men.
He wrestled a wide enough variety of grapplers, grocers, garbage men, gargantuan goons, goofs, gladiators, gentlemen, & jelly bellied dirtbags to have a solution to every possible opponent of his 7 decades in the ring, so why can't we book a modern wrestler in a similar context? WITHOUT USING THE "SUPERMAN" Loophole?
As long as Giants are lazy because they walk through life with few challengers & fewer physical challenges, as the continuity of wrestling's mythos should always dictate, then the greatest wrestlers of all should & always will be the middle of the road sized wrestlers who want it the most.
Hulk Hogan was never booked properly for Professional Wrestling. He should have had to endure losing to wrestlers who possessed skills or attributes he didn't; in order to be forced to go through the learning experience of developing that area of his repertoire & finding a way to overcome the obstacle; that the fans could take away a lesson in perseverance.
Size doesn't matter. Booking continuity matters.

NO. Size shouldn't matter, what should matter is you can work, talk and the ability to get over.

Size only matters when you are superficial and don't give a about Pro Wrestling. But when it comes to Wrestling and Wrestlers the opinion of these people shouldn't even matter so NO size does not matter in Wrestling

To me? Absolutely not.
My top five current wrestlers are Tommy End, Zack Sabre Jr, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Finn Balor. One of those could be considered a "big man". Your size should not dictate your success or failure within a company. Your talent should.
To Vince McMahon? Yes.
It's obvious he gravitates towards larger men to be pushed; Batista, Triple H, John Cena, Hulk Hogan, Brock Lesnar, Kane, Big Show, Mark Henry, Roman Reigns, the list goes on, and the smaller guys are left to toil in the midcard until they leave or retire.

Nah. Smaller guys are fun to watch if they are skilled enough. Just look at Rey Mysterio.

Size doesn't matter. The smaller guys are way more entertaining to watch. But make it believable to an extent. I don't want to see Daniel Bryan beat a Big Show, Mark Henry, Kane, Rowan or a big guy like that in about 5 minutes. I want to see him work hard for his victory and gradually break him apart bit by bit. Give me that and I can believe it. Like on Raw, I don't want to see Neville beat Henry in 2 minutes. It has to be more of a struggle.

Unless it's somebody like hornswoggle or El Torito winning the title, I don't have a problem.

Nope. My all time favorites rage in size to some extent. As long as they have a good ring presence, believable move set, & a good look, I'm usually sold.

Size matters?... Try telling that to Seth... Savage But no. Are they entertaining? Then that's all I care about. No one was buying tickets to see how big Great Khaki was.

I tend to believe that it's more of a matter of booking, and size shouldn't matter.... some of the greatest wrestlers weren't "big" guys, Ric Flair is my all-time favorite - not a "big guy."
However, when you go to live shows - it's very obvious when some guys are smaller (like Daniel Bryan). Certain guys just tower over "normal men" EC3 was a beast when I met him, very tall & intimidating!
So I can kind of understand Vince's point of view.... but better booking would solve a lot of the issue.

As long as they aren't midgets its all good They like to be called Little People. Anyway Hornswoggle has the longest tenure of any midget wrestler in WWE history

I do honestly feel that as long as the dude is being worked on as a overall product then the size/height of a wrestler does not matter. I know Rey probably has his title push because of Eddie but look at Rey, he's very short and wasn't THAT built, just a little of a belly. But still, they put enough time and effort into Rey to make it work, aswell as the guy already being a fan favorite, he TO ME was one of my favorite champions of my era. So no, I don't think size matters as long as fans dictate who they like... but maybe that doesn't apply in this era/Reign<-... REIGN...

Yes and no. But, like most anything with wrestling, it's all subjective.

Nope, don't care about size. As long as they can wrestle and put on a good show in the ring and are booked well, that's fine enough for me.
