not that he would tell everyone he was jumping to the main roster...
however going on the notion he's been truthful, i dont blame him. with the way the "main" roster is, i'd do everything i could to stay in NXT. you're still getting exposed to millions of people, you're still getting to do what you love, and obviously you're making money.
better than going to the RAW or Smackdown shows and becoming a mid-card geek who hits 3 moves, loses all credibility, is a puppet for vince & kevin dunn, have half your moves become invisible to the tv audience because the camerawork is horrendous, and make sure to put Reigns over

I honestly don't see why (character sake) he would go to the Main Roster. I don't think his entrance would translate in a full arena and I also don't know if the casual fan would like him based on his promos. A lot of people are going to want to stay in NXT and I hope for her sake, Bayley does too. She would get absolutely buried for being a 'child' on the main roster.

Can't say I blame him....it's proven not to be any type of paradise on the main roster nowadays...

Dude should just stay there until Vince and Dunn are gone.

Just seems like Balor saying all the right things and being a company guy/team player.
People can use all the examples they want of not liking what Vince has done with NXT talent on the main roster but none of them are Finn Balor, who is a legitimate star. Balor knows it, the fans know it, and HHH knows it. It's really just a matter of time with him.

I would love to see Balor on the main roster and hopefully sooner rather then later.Dude gives off that Jeff Hardy vibe like crazy but is also a lot safer in side and out side the ring then him.He would be a mega star on the main roster as long as Vince/Dunn don't screw him over.He could be on the level of a Jeff Hardy/CM Punk and be one of their biggest stars.I would easy him in on the main stage by having him have a tag team run with Kane and then after a run as a tag team champ break off and give him a legit singles push into the main event scene.

I don't know if Balor has that dream of being a headliner at WM. Honestly, if you didn't grow up dying to become one of those megastar WWE guys, why would you want to go to the main roster? He will in time, I just hope he enjoys it because he could easily walk into any wrestling company in the world and be one of the highest on their payroll. He doesn't need WWE.

He's a smart man.
Still though, it's a sad, yet amusing thought that nowadays going to the main roster is considered punishment and the 'developmental' show is leaps and bounds ahead of what's supposed to be the 'A' show in Raw. Plus, I don't blame Sasha for wanting to go back to NXT, too.

It doesn't matter what he wants. It only matters what Vince wants. If Vince wants him on the main roster, he'll go.

Balor could be gambling on the expansion of NXT that is coming up. If NXT can become a viable brand, where they tour and generate dollars....Finn could be sitting on an absolute gold mind. NXT has the ECW like cult following. They are putting out a whole new product and attracting eyes. They are basically a modern day ECW. The biggest difference is ECW fell because of inability to manage money and suffer through some losses. NXT will not have that issue. NXT can suffer losses and they will have the money and notoriety to run under the WWE banner. I think Finn will only have so much room to keep himself in NXT. HHH may be able to stall for a bit, but if Vince decides he wants Finn on the main roster...Finn is going to the main roster. Right, wrong, or indifferent. I think 2016 is gonna be a very interesting year for NXT. If the plans for expansion reach the levels that HHH believes they can, the alternative to WWE might be its own product. Exactly what I intended to say, but you put it better.

I don't blame him. He's the top guy in NXT and if he was to be called up he would be in Neville's spot.

I'm convinced they are saving him for the Raw after Wrestlemania 32.

I remember in an interview a few years ago he said he was happy in new japan and gonna stay there. I don't remember him ever saying that he was gonna stay in New Japan. He'd always tease the idea of going to America. He said in this in a magazine a few years ago As you stated earlier, your one-year New Japan contract expires in January. I know WWE has expressed an interest in you before. Do you think WWE will reach out to you again in 2013? Erm, I'm not sure. I always see myself as a wrestler doing something he loves. I get to travel the world with my friends or to see my friends. I'm just enjoying having a good time, getting to express my love of pro wrestling in a way that satisfies my needs. I get put in a great position by my company against some of the most talented wrestlers in the world. And I'm very happy doing that. If other opportunities come about, I'll listen to them. But at the moment, I'm 31, I'm in decent enough physical health and living a fulfilled and joyful life, and I wouldn't want to offset any balance that I have right now too drastically.
