I just put on an old episode of RAW from 1999 and before it started playing, I got one of those stupid cigarette commercials playing before hand. I am fine with having a short ad at the start of every few episodes but this better not lead to them putting ads in all over the place.

They've had these for almost a year. I use the Network A LOT and this is the first time I've had this happen. |

They've always been there for on demand too (we'll always since they started ads at all) Maybe they're more frequent now but they've been there. They still don't play in the middle of the show though so it doesn't bother me. I'm not that impatient. |

I don't think whoever paid for the ads paid a lot, so they're not always there. If WWE needs to make the Network more profitable for it to exist, whatever. |

Basically what people have been saying. They've been there for a while, but they are more frequent now. They don't interrupt your shows but they come on sometimes before on demand content. It's no big deal to me. They have to make back money somehow and I always expected it.

It's been going on for a while. I mean... They did send an email  I did yell at my TV the other night "I DONT  ING SMOKE CIGARETTES" when that one aired tho haha |

Wow they still show cigarette adverts in the US? They've been banned over here for about 8 years now.
Seems ludicrous to me that they show them on a Network that could have children potentially watching. That's the whole reason they're not advertised in Britain anymore.
I don't have the Network, or any other paid subscription service, so I dunno how common this is, but if you pay for the content - surely you shouldn't have to put up with crappy ads?
