That's very unfortunate, I hope he has a speedy recovery.
I think a few weeks away will do him good in not only a physical sense, as his shtick has been getting awfully stale of late.

I don't think this is an issue. He probably has the flu or a stomach virus that A) Prevents him from performing, and B) they don't want him to give it to anyone else.
It happens. Sometimes you just need a sick day.

Any news on what this actually is? It sounds like a flu or something but people are talking as though he's one of the many off injured for 4-6 months does he need a day in bed with a lemsip or surgery lol

I believe there is a flu bug out now called the Norwalk Flu... or something like that. It happens every year around this time and can last until March.
What it is, is you have violent diarrhea and can or will throw up a lot too. It sucks, I have had it like 3 times in my life. It lasts for a few days then its over and its really easy to catch/spread. So that's probably what he and his son had.
