I feel as if I am the only Eva Marie fan. Everyone hates her, I can understand if some people hated her. But not everyone, and for what reason?
Anyways I really like her and even though she isn't super good in the ring she has improved a lot from where she was. She also has passion which a lot of people lack these days! I can see her winning the title in a sneaky way like how they were heading in her match a week or two ago against Bayley. Which might I add was very entertaining and I wish more matches were like that. It helped cover up her flaws and bring out her positives.
No doubt do I like her and no doubt do I see her going somewhere in the WWE whether you all like it or not...
I actually hope that she wins the title off of Bayley and improves and turns into a big time heel. Cheating her way into keeping it, etc. and then eventually having Bayley win it back..

This has been irritating me for far too long.
Everyone seems to think that they are in the know when it comes to wrestling, but yet they are failing to realize certain things when it comes to how everything works. The sole purpose of airing tv shows is to bring in viewers. That is why total divas exists, and guess what... total divas works. It brings in new viewers who want to know if Nikki retains the title before the next episode airs. They want to see the women that they watch on whatever day that crap comes on doing what they do that gave them that tv show in the first place. Everyone thinks oh hey Nikki was champion because of who she sleeps with. Well no.. Nikki was champion because like it or not total divas is a success and people do tune in to see the women on that show.
That brings me to Eva. Doesn't it make a whole crap ton of sense to do the same type of thing with her in order to get people to think they should check out what she is doing on NXT to see if she is improving or is winning titles or is doing whatever they say they do on that show. Maybe those new viewers will tune in and think.. oh cool these guys spelling out sawft are pretty funny and keep the show on. Maybe the goal here is to turn total divas fans into wrestling fans. Not everyone that watches that show watches the product.
It gets so annoying to see people saying.. oh gee if that happens I'm done watching.
People said that because Daniel Bryan didn't win two rumbles.. Guess what.. they're still watching.
Oh no, don't let Sheamus cash in because I'll never watch again... yet here we all are.
It will be the same with Eva, and yet you will all continue to tune in waiting for Bayley to win the belt back. Just as wrestling has been for as long as it has been around. Besides that Eva is a heat magnet and Bayley is so much better off chasing the title because truth be told she isn't the be all tell all best thing going either. The only woman from the four horsewomen(which is a stupid ass name) that can talk is Sasha Banks. If it brings in more viewers, and helps someone who by popular demand doesn't want to be here get better(which clearly she wants to and has bee trying on her own to do so no matter what everyone seems to think) then why even bother worrying about it.

I get the point that an Eva title run would bring massive heat, but I don't think whoever beats her would gain much out of it. I think it'll be a case of the fans pulling for someone to dethrone her and then when it happens, that champion will then have to prove themselves a little more to get truly over.

Bayley = Rock N Roll Express Eva Marie = Midnight Express (not in wrestling style, of course) They should have had Eva beat Bayley on NXT for the Women's Title. You had Charles Robinson there, you had Nia Jax, all this stuff being thrown at Bayley, it would have been the perfect time to do the switch. And every time Eva could defend the title, they could have all this stuff go down, to cover up her lack of ring skills, then the match is still at least entertaining and dramatic. I didn't understand the significance of having Charles Robinson there. Is he supposed to be a heel in NXT? Did I miss something? |

Might as well put the Divas Championship on Eva. The division is a joke anyways. In a more realistic tone, Eva can't cut a promo or wrestle, she gets booed because she sucks. Fans don't buy tickets to see Eva Marie.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin and John Cena are the two best wrestlers WWE has ever had. They can cut promos, work their ass off, and control crowds based on their storytelling. Eva Marie can not do any of those things, most of today's roster can't do all of those things, but at least one or two. Don't get confused in your own homerism, Bayley and Sasha are THE divas of the next generation. Eva Marie is more or less a Stacy Kiebler on her best day in comparison to Bayley and Sasha's Trish and Lita. |

If Bayley and Sasha are 'the best' then why aren't they putting on 5 star matches constantly??
It's easy to be 'the best' and put on those 5 star matches when you can practice wrestling the person days before the big show. Sasha on Raw has not impressed me whatsoever. Sure, in NXT her and Bayley had two of the greatest women matches ever. But how many days ahead did they plan it and practice for it??

I don't think you understand Bayley's character, or any sort of character work as well as you think you do. Hmm.. you got me. I don't understand a thing. You know.. every single time an Eva Marie thread is made the same four-five people hijack it until it gets locked. No one does that to the Bayley threads, and there are people here who dislike her as well. We get it already. You guys don't like her. No need to continue telling us in hostile manners once-twice a week when she gets mentioned. I get the bayley character.. shes lucky to be there. We established that like a year ago. She still cannot talk and hasn't delivered since she finally won the big one. |

But they clearly practiced those matches going into it. They looked too smooth. Like it was choreographed. Where as when you look back at Trish vs. Lita matches, they went by how the fans were reacting. |

It's about working with your opponent to act out a "fight" and make it look real, invest the fans' interest and tell a story. Who cares if they practiced it before?
