I was really tired and fell asleep during the first few mins of RAW.
I can't even understand what happened from reading replies in here. Did they have a huge clustered tag match that had Rhyno in it and Reigns picking up the win, then having him kick Sheamus' ass again to close the show? Sounds awful (other than Rhyno, that's cool I guess).

Also, I think they're past the point of no return with Reigns. Last night's debacle should be the nail in the coffin, quite honestly. Sheamus, a guy who is not known for his prowess on the microphone, absolutely ran circles around Roman and still couldn't save the segment from being a total disaster.
In my sixteen plus years as a fan, there has never been a less over main event babyface. People even tried to like him last night, but he was just awful that it was impossible. WWE was hoping that pairing him with the ice-cold Sheamus would lead the audience to cheer him by default, but instead, they're just sitting silently, which is so much worse. Apathy is just about the worst thing you can have in a wrestling character, and we're reaching that point with Roman Reigns. Why bother booing him? They're just going to keep doing what they're doing.

Thought the opening segment/match pretty much summed up everything that is wrong with WWE. -Why is this match happening? -Let's shove as many names as we can into one segment -Chaos, chaos, chaos! -Attitude Era relic goes over an already destroyed young faction -Multiple guys in matches that have nothing to do with their current programs -Make Roman Reigns look strong at the expense of building your already weak heel champion -Detract heat from your leading heel stable that absolutely needs it -Pander to the garbage on commentary (JBL saying "this is awesome, Maggle" was just pathetic.) -Shaky cam, shaky cam, shaky cam -Did I mention, make Roman Reigns look strong at all costs? -Required overexposure because most of these guys needed to be in additional segments throughout the show to build their programs. It's just...baffling. You nailed it!

Just sounds like it was a drawn out boring show, but even worse than the last few.

Sounds like I didn't miss much last night. BTW, was that GIF of Sasha Banks dancing in the ring from last night?

That Reigns promo made me hate Reigns. It was THAT bad. "Tater tots".. Skipped every segment. Absolutely garbage. I actually questioned why anyone over 12 would be interested in it. The title pictures are killing me. WHC - Transitional for the badly skilled Reigns. Womens - Charlotte. Worst diva in the division. Ugh. IC - Saving grace. All hail KO. Tags - Slowly staling New Day. I love them, but freshen it up. "Booty West"? Seriously? Turned it off and went straight to a 1998 Raw. That's real entertainment.

I thought the "Irish are known for potatoes but you've just got a pair of tater tots" line was clever. And that's coming from a proud Celt.

It was a clever line, the problem was Reigns kept going back to it every other sentence and it lost its impact.

Roman Reigns is supposed to be the underdog, yet he pinned Sheamus in the opening match and laid him out at the end of the show.
Underdog.

Wow, I just read that a lot of fans actually left during the main event segment, lol. This isn't surprising at all. It's almost frightening at this point how bad in shape this company is right now. Also Shane Helms compared the episode to WCW Thunder. Ouch. Leaving during a Reigns segment is probably the only way that the message can truly be conveyed to Vince and company. Reigns isn't working out as the top babyface. And with every attempt on WWE's part to put him over, they kill him in the process.
