Roman Reigns is supposed to be the underdog, yet he pinned Sheamus in the opening match and laid him out at the end of the show. Underdog. He'll be painted as the underdog when he loses on Sunday. If he's going to lose on Sunday, I really hope he wins the title the next night. Just to get it out of the way. He doesn't NEED to have a long, drawn out journey to WrestleMania.

If Sheamus can completely outshine you on the mic, you need some serious work. That was embarrassing for Reigns.

Does anyone honestly care about Rowan anymore? Does anyone honestly care about anyone anymore? Does anyone honestly care about no one anymore?

If you were brand new to Raw and decided to watch last night, you'd be laughing at whoever told you Reigns was a face. They just don't understand he needs to be a heel with a mouth piece. You don't book someone to show up their weaknesses. It's basic logic. How are WWE not seeing this?!

Royal Rumble is in Orlando, so that wouldn't be a much better option. No matter what, WWE doesn't have a "best case scenario" for the crowd response when Reigns becomes champion again.

Wow, I just read that a lot of fans actually left during the main event segment, lol. This isn't surprising at all. It's almost frightening at this point how bad in shape this company is right now. Also Shane Helms compared the episode to WCW Thunder. Ouch. Leaving during a Reigns segment is probably the only way that the message can truly be conveyed to Vince and company. Reigns isn't working out as the top babyface. And with every attempt on WWE's part to put him over, they kill him in the process. Exactly. Actions speak louder than words and in this case, if things are that bad and they don't want to watch anymore, then the right thing to do is get up and leave. I think if they'd kept a slow build with Reigns instead of rushing him to the top, people would like him more. So what's going on now is WWE's own fault.

Wonder how many cheers they piped into the Reigns/Sheamus segment for Hulu.
Philly is going to absolutely destroy them next week, and I can't wait. I'm hoping for a rowdy audience in Boston this weekend too.

I used to go to Boston PPVs all the time growing up, but I haven't bothered to venture down since Summerslam '06. They were rowdy back then, but obviously that was years ago. They seem to have tapered off in the last few years, unfortunately.

That Segment between Sheamus and Reigns at the end of Raw was just painful to watch, and sounded incredibly scripted. Neither of them have any chemistry between each other on the Mic, it was embarrassing to listen to. Reigns was lucky he got that chant going, although even then he went overboard and wouldn't stop saying it because he was that delighted he had something going for him. I'm not saying it to be 'anti-WWE' or anything, but I genuinely can't remember a period where I have been so disinterested with everything from head to toe. Virtually nobody captivates me, the booking is so illogical, there's no long-term or even short term payoff right now, they are literally just praying Wrestlemania Season can hurry up. The trouble is, this is the time they should be trying to entice more new viewers than ever, to have them onboard for the big ride between January and April.
