Well this response was a bit more informative. Simple answering "boxcutters" gives the idea of your well thought out method to stealing figures. So no, my response wasn't a baseless insinuation. "In your experience... Do you slice the packaging in the stores? Or do it at home then return the figures?" Is what you said. You knew the methods as soon as I said boxcutters. But I'm not going to accuse you of doing it yourself simply because you knew of the methods. That would be short-sighted. No, I didn't know the methods, but this thread is about people stealing and swapping figures isn't it? So when you mentioned boxcutters, common sense took over. Boxcutters + stealing/swapping figures? Anyway, my original response wasn't to be taken too seriously.

Yeah. Ive seen a few taped up basic swaps. those at are the worst when I see those and they are tapped up with ridiculous amount of tape im like really? When someone tried to return that they didn't think it was a little suspicious? Then you have those basic swaps that looks factory i seen a basic 44 Kane around the time they hit retail and I found a bald head jakks Kane figure with plain black tights on the card and with some kind of sorcery they made it look like it was never even tampered with I was super disappointed cause i wanted it till I seen it was swapped

The thieves are bad, but just as bad are the stores who repeatedly put out items with merchandise missing from said thieves. I have a Wal-Mart nearby where someone literally stole every piece to make BAF Marvel Legends Odin. When I brought them up to customer service, they tell me they can't discount them, they can only send them back or put them back out. Naturally they were back out on the shelves the next week. Luckily this happens less nearby with WWE. As if Cesaro didn't shelf-warm enough; nearby I've seen multiple Cesaros with the Andre the Giant Trophies taken out. Retail nightmare.
