I posted this in a thread with some collection photos of a few things I have on display, a lot of boxed and open amiibo, and my Xmas tree and village scenery, which has a lot of video game-themed things.
Anywho, this is more retro.... I recently purchased a $15 (shipped) Pac-Man arcade/tabletop mini, a Caleco 'Midway's Pac-Man' (1981) that was sol to me as-is. Here is my post and photos from the other thread.... and i have video to showcase the game in action, too. ^_^ Gotta upload it...

Well, I took a $15 Pac-Man machine from the '80s (1981 CALECO. Midway's Pac-Man tabletop 2-player miniature arcade)...... they sell anywhere from $50-200+ depending on the inclusions (box, original batts/charger, etc.), the shape it is in, working vs. non-working, etc.
Mine was sold "As-is" and untested. The contacts needed cleaning, so I did that. There was a short but I've seemed to fix it...and low and behold, for $15 and a little cleaning up, some tinkering with the contacts, and making sure its insides were sound-- and voila! A $100 antique (well, it is!) works for me, and was only $15 to acquire. I also fixed warping, glued down some of the logos that flapped or were flapping, and added some decals of my own where it was pretty plain and clean, and they applied nice. This was an amazing bargain in the end, as I wouldn't even pay $50 for a working one in solid condition these days, as much as I love Pac-Man. To get one for $15-- an to fix it up not only aesthetically, but to the point where this '81 tabletop works? I'm proud and happy as a cow that has never been tipped.
Here are photos and I'll img the photo of the in-game action. Also have a video of the thing in action. I am psyched! I've always wanted one of these and the price was so great, and it didn't require a ton of work to fix it! Factoring in batts I bought, it was about $19 total.
