I wish Demolition wore their makeup when I met them. They were cool though. Are those Mattel legends figures rare now? I have AX.

Those autographs look awesome, especially the red paint pen signed magazine. Both guys are truly good guys. You can tell why they were so good together wrestling because they enjoy being with each other as two of the boys. They both had real jobs after their wrestling careers wound down. Ax was a teacher (I wonder what his students though) and Smash ran or runs two business (I think construction and printing businesses) so I would imagine they would both have to be people persons all the time. And they definitely are at these autograph conventions.

I've had great experiences meeting everyone I have met... Maybe not Lita so much... But Ax and Smash have got to be near the top of the list. They have all the time in the World for you and seem as interested in meeting you as you are meeting them.

They stood the entire time and engaged in conversation with everyone. I'm supposed to be meeting Lita in two weeks, so hopefully my experience with her is a good one.

I attended the Niagara Falls Comic Con for the third year in a row today. Scheduled to be there today was Ric Flair, Greg Valentine, Brutus Beefcake, Trish Stratus, and Lita. Big Show would be appearing Saturday only. Of these names, I needed to get Flair, Valentine, and Lita. I wanted to meet Big Show too but felt he was a little too expensive. Honky Tonk Man was also supposed to be at the con, but cancelled months ago. His replacement was Rey Mysterio, who ended up also cancelling. Doors were to open at 3 and I arrived at about 2:10 to find a decent-sized line. Not short, but not long. About a half hour after, josecalderon arrives and I give him his Demolition figures I had signed for him a few weeks ago. He also had some figures for me, which I intend to get signed later this month (thanks again! Nice seeing you!). A few minutes after 3, the doors open. Security checks our bags and by 3:10, we were in. My priority was Ric Flair, therefore, my plan was to go straight to him and get him out of the way. The NFCCâs website said that pricing for Flair would be $80 each for an autograph or a photo, but when I got to his line, I noticed that they bumped the price up to 90. Right when I got into the con, I joined Ricâs line, who was already out and signing. Most celebrities were not out yet. 20 minutes later, it is my turn to meet him. His girlfriend/wife Wendy aka WCWâs Fifi was handling the money. I asked for two autographs and paid the 180. As I pay, I simply tell Fifi that it is nice to meet her as well. She smiles and thanks me. 90 is a bit much; however, with Ricâs recent health scare, I figured that I should get him while I have the opportunity to. I first shake his hand and tell him that itâs nice to meet him again. He thanks me, and sees that I have a paint marker and asked: âdid you have your own pen?â, and I tell him that it is for the action figure. He first signs my encyclopedia. As he signs, I tell him: âitâs great to see youâre doing wellâ, and he says something along the lines of âme tooâ, as in heâs glad heâs feeling well. I then hand him the DM figure, which had a post-it note that said âTo Alexâ on it. He didnât see it, and started signing his name. I ask him to make it out to me, and he thinks I said âAlecâ. I clarify the spelling and he squeezes my name in the little corner. Not the greatest looking personalization, but Iâm happy with it. As he signs the figure, I tell him: âIâve met your daughter twice and sheâs a class act like yourselfâ. Flair immediately had the biggest smile on his face, while Fifi replied âawwww! Thatâs so nice!". Flair replied: âIâm so proud of her!â. After that, I shake Ricâs hand again, and thank the both of them. With Valentine and Lita not out and signing yet, I decide to look around at the vendors. As I do so, I run into josecalderon again, as well as someone Iâve spoken to on twitter before. Meanwhile, I also keep checking the autograph area to see if Valentine or Lita have come out. Valentine soon did, and at about 4:10, I go up to his booth and get him in the three encyclopedia entries I needed. He was $30. He first signed the Dream Team entry, which was already signed Brutus. I then flip over to the New Dream Team entry, which he seemed surprised to see. He pointed at Dino and Johnny V and pointed out how theyâre both gone and how tragic it was that Johnny V died in an accident. Valentine said that he found out about the incident a few hours after it happened. Lastly, I had him sign the Rhythm and Blues entry. He looks at the entry and says: âAh! Honky Tonk!â, then signs. He then says: âNow you just need Jimmy on there!â. I tell him that heâs right, thank him, shake his hand and move on to the side to fix my stuff. Not much of an interaction with Valentine here. He wasnât overly talkative, but friendly enough. Iâve met him before, so this was expected. To be honest, I just wanted my book signed anyway. After I was done with Greg, I check for Lita, who wasnât out yet. I didnât feel like standing in the line so I sat down on the floor by the entrance in an effort to wait it out. At around 4:45, I decide to check on Lita again and it turns out, sheâs out there signing, so I join the line with about 20 people ahead of me. A few minutes later, I see marklud . I try to let him jump the line with me so he didnât have to go to the back (in fairness, there was only a few people behind me), but the volunteer organizing the line wasnât having it. It was cool though; we still got to chat nonetheless. Great seeing you again! Lita's line was going quite slowly as she was very talkative towards the fans and took her time with photos. There were instances where fans would get a photo with both Trish and Lita as their booths were right next to each other. (Random note: at around this time, Tim White was roaming the autograph area and spoke to Greg Valentine for a bit. Interesting to see him at the con). At about 5:30, I am only five people away from meeting Lita; however, she and Trish need to leave for their professional photo-ops, but return at around 6:00. The fans in front of me meet her and after 10 minutes, it is finally my turn. I pay the handler, then shake Litaâs hand and tell her ânice to finally meet you!â. She says that it is nice to meet me too and notices my post-it note on the figure that said my name. She asked if I wanted the encyclopedia personalized as well, and I said that I did. I tell her that I missed her Fan Expo appearance in Toronto a few years ago. She replies: âoh yes! Fan Expoâ. I continue: âI was out of town so I couldnât meet you that time.â In response, Lita says something along the lines of that itâs good that sheâs here now and âbut you had to travel farther for it! Iâm sorry!â. I tell her that itâs worth it because Iâm a big fan. I first had her sign my encyclopedia, the a Raw Magazine that I had Trish sign last year. Next, I had her sign my Elite. As she signed, I tell her that it was great to see her in the Rumble this year. She thanks me and says that it was really fun to be a part of it. I ask her: âwhat was it like working with the younger talent?â. She says that it was interesting to do the Rumble with them because she works with them behind the camera, so it was different to work with them in front of the camera. After she signs my stuff, she comes out from behind her table and poses for a photo with me. Once the volunteer takes the photo and gives my phone back to me. I check the photo, and Lita does so as well. She did this with every fan. She checked on the photos and if it looks good sheâll say something like: âI like the way it turned out!â. After the photo, I shake her hand and we thank each other. Lita tells me: ânice to finally meet you! Sorry for having to make you work for it!â. I thank her again and tell her that itâs worth the travel to meet her. Lita was super friendly. There was actually a family in front of me with their kid (maybe a one-year-old), who got a photo with Lita. After they did the photo, Lita asked for the phone and did a selfie with herself and the baby. Lita was definitely the coolest of the three I met today. Thanks for reading! June will be a busy month for autographs. Next report should be dropping on Sunday. Before you go.. I did get some autographs from a non-wrestling person last week. For fun, I wrote a report, which can be found below. Because the signing below is rather unique compared to my regular meets, it might be a bit more detailed than it needs to be. Peter Noone Autograph Signing Report - 5/25/2018 Considering the length of my thread, combined with the fact that I post on a wrestling forum, it is needless to say that I am a huge wrestling fan. What most people on here do not know, however, is that I am also a huge fan of music dating back to the 1960âs and some of the 1950âs. While most people my age listen to Drake etc (I donât really know whoâs relevant right now, to be honest lol), youâll find me listening to Frankie Valli (my favourite), among other artists such as Del Shannon, Dion, and Ricky Nelson, to name a few. Last week, I had the opportunity to see one of my favourites in concert, Peter Noone, who was the original lead singer of Hermanâs Hermits. Iâve been wanting to see him in concert for a while, and it was only until now that I was able to. His current band members are not original members of the group, but itâs Peter that personifies the group, in my opinion, so I was enthused to see him. (As an example, imagine The Beach Boys without Brian Wilson. Personally, I wouldnât want to see The Beach Boys unless Brian Wilson was on stage). Though my dad is not too crazy about Hermanâs Hermitsâ music, he does like it, so we agreed to attend the show and got our tickets the first day they came out a few months ago. We decided to get the cheapest-priced seats, which actually gave us a very good view. We were towards the left of the theatre. third row from the bottom of the risers. The day of the concert was a long and hot day. I first took my friend to an animĂ© convention in Mississauga during the morning and early afternoon, but had to leave her there in order to get home to meet my dad and leave in time for the concert. My dad and I left at 5 and got to the venue (Casino Rama in Orillia, ON) at 8:15. Traffic was crazy. By the time of the show, I was already very tired. It was to start at 9, and it started right on time. Iâm used to things starting late, so that was nice. The show itself was fantastic! The energy from the show caused me to forget my tiredness. Peter did all of the songs the group is known for from "Iâm Into Something Good" to "Mrs. Brown Youâve Got A Lovely Daughter" to "Thereâs a Kind of Hushâ, plus a lot of their other songs. Included in his setlist were covers of Johnny Cashâs âRing of Fireâ, The Beatlesâ âAll My Lovingâ, Tom Jonesâ âItâs Not Unusualâ, among others. Better yet, he was hilarious (even imitating Mick Jagger lol) and told many jokes and stories throughout the show. If you are a fan of his, definitely attend his show. Even if you arenât that big a fan, youâll enjoy it. Heâs one of my favourites, so naturally, I enjoyed it very much. My dad definitely did as well. One thing to note was that Peter's voice was stronger than ever. He sounds almost the same as he did when the group was in its prime. A lot of older artists start to lose their voices, but Peter sounded amazing. Prior to the concert, I did some research about his concerts and found out that he does meet and greets after most of his shows. Because of that, I wanted to find a few of his vinyls in order to get signed. I donât have a record player, but wanted something decent to get signed by him. Therefore, a few weeks before the concert, I passed by a record store and was able to find a few records for cheap. Fast forward to the end of the concert, Peter closes with âThereâs A Kind of Hushâ, and goes to the lobby to sign autographs. We leave our seats and easily find the line for the meet and greet, which was well organized. There was about 25 people ahead of us, and the line behind us quickly grew. Not everyone stayed to meet Peter; most were on their way out. I had expected to wait a long time to meet Peter because of the crowd, combined with me thinking that heâd want to get a breather and relax backstage for a bit. However, to my surprise, he was out instantly (he was out before we even joined the line!) and very happy and eager to meet the fans. When you got to the front of the line, you would be able to buy something from the merch table, if you wanted. A few feet from the merch table was Peter himself, who also had his own table to use for signing stuff. Because I had my own stuff to get signed, I opted not to buy anything from the merch table. Peter signed anything you wanted, and at no extra cost. He also stood the entire time and didnât stay behind his table. Fans who were to meet him were got to stand literally right next to him. When I got up to him, I hand him a blue sharpie (yes, even here Iâm picky with my autographs lol). He happily takes it and I ask him to personalize the first record to me. He asked me to repeat my name and spell it. Because of how simple my name is, he replied: âah! Thatâs easy enough!â, and smiles at me. Then for the other record, I just wanted the signature with no personalization. However, he began to write the âToâ, but I told him I just wanted the signature, which again, he was happy to do. After, I asked him to sign our tickets, one personalized to me, and the other personalized to my dad (I blocked out my dadâs name, as well as my full name on the pictures of the autographs below). As he signs I tell him that Iâm a huge fan and say: âyour music, as well as The Four Seasons, are the only groups I regularly listen toâ. He says that âIâm deaf. Youâll need to speak louder!â. I repeat myself and he replies with something along the lines of âthatâs greatâ and thanked me. We then pose for a quick picture, taken by my dad. Then, my dad and I swap positions so that he can also take a picture with Peter. When my dad goes up to him, Peter says: âHi Dad!â. In response, my dad tells him âgreat show!â, and I take the picture. Peter thanks the both of us and we were off. Thatâs it for this one. Peter was very nice and listened to everything you had to say. He seemed to genuinely appreciate meeting the fans by offering a free meet and greet. I like attending these concerts, however, most of them donât do meet and greets, so this is probably the only time thereâll be something like this in my thread lol. If you read this one too and made it all the way to this point, thanks for reading!

Very cool man. I really like the way the lita looks signed in pink paint pen.
I feel bad for hammer. I met him at an Indy show last summer and he was clearly unhappy. He wasnât a dick or anything he just seemed miserable. Then he âwrestledâ and it was painful watching it.
I look forward to the next report Sunday.

Great to see you too, man! Next time we'll actually get in one of the lines together, lol. I hope next year things are a little more efficient at this con because the one in Buffalo two weeks ago went much more smoothly for me personally. Very cool man. Also I'm not sure if I'm gonna do a full write-up cause today was pretty exhausting but I must say that Greg couldn't have been nicer with me and I couldn't get him to stop talking. It's actually the second time this has happened for me with him ... this time he couldn't stop talking about weed, which was hilarious on so many different levels. I must know the key to unlocking his outgoing side or something.

Those prices for Flair seemed a little steep. When I met him at Wrestle Con this year it was 100 for a photo and auto combo

Thanks everyone! Those prices for Flair seemed a little steep. When I met him at Wrestle Con this year it was 100 for a photo and auto combo It does seem a bit steep for just the autograph; however, he was offering a $130 autograph/photo combo, which after converting from Canadian to American, is about 100. Thanks for reading!

Another update consisting of two events today. Before you read this report, donât forget to check out the report from Friday above. First, Joey Mercury was in Toronto for Smash Wrestling this afternoon. Smash held two shows today, featuring a 16-man tournament. One show was in the afternoon and the second one in the evening. With Rich Swann being in Mississauga for Destiny the same evening, I decided to do Smashâs afternoon show and get Swann in Mississauga during the evening after. Itâs funny because I initially thought I wouldnât be able to attend these shows considering that Rey Mysterio was a Sunday guest at the Niagara con above, but with his cancelation, my Sunday freed up. Doors for Smashâs afternoon show were to open at 3. With the venue being a short walk away from where I live, I left at 2:30 and got there in 10 minutes to find a line of about 25 people. Doors opened 15 minutes later than scheduled, and once I got in a went straight to the merch area hoping that Joey Mercury would be out and signing. Most of the talent were, but Joey was not, so I figured Iâd get him at intermission. The show starts at 4:15, again 15 minutes after it was scheduled to start. The first four matches happen, then at around 5:30, intermission is announced. I make my way to the merch table hoping that Joey would be out and signing. He wasnât. I was told that he might come out after the show or during the evening show. I stayed for the remainder of the show but left during the main event as it was getting late and I feared that I would also miss out on Rich Swann. josecalderon was nice enough to help me with grabbing a Jakks set that included Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro. I appreciate the help, but it looks like Iâll have to get that signed another time. I figured Iâd chalk Joey up as a loss and try my luck at Destiny. Destiny was collaborating with Impact for a taping. I had intended to meet Rich Swann initially, but once Madison Rayne was announced a few days ago, I intended to meet her as well. Destinyâs show was to start at 7:30, but due to the Smash show above, combined with a multiple vehicle car accident on the highway that turned a four-laned highway into a one-laned highway, I was there 5 minutes past 8. Seats were all taken, but thirty seconds after I walked in, a staff member was able to open a seat up for me and took me to that spot right away. Since the show had already started, I was hoping to get Rich Swann at intermission. Come 8:45, intermission was announcedâŠâŠ and, with my luck, Rich Swann and Madison Rayne were not out and signing. Great. 15 minutes later, intermission is over and the show continues during Rich Swann fought Austin Aries for the Impact Championship. The main event featured Pentagon Jr., Eli Drake, and Moose in a Triple Threat Match. Once the show was over, I make my way to the merch area, hoping that I would be able to get Rich Swann and Madison Rayne. Again, they were not out and signing, and didnât have any merch out. Consequently, I thought that they did not plan on coming out. Therefore, instead of waiting by the merch area, I go over to the curtain dividing the backstage area from the stage/fans. The curtain was open enough such that I could see who is back there, and vice versa. I see Madison Rayne back there, but she is busy talking, so I choose to not call her name out. While waiting, Josh Mathews came by. Knowing he is a commentator for Impact, I brought a few programs for him to sign. He first signed a trading card for a fan before me, and used the same marker to sign the one program I had opened. It seemed like he was trying to get rid of the four or five fans that wanted to meet him. He did a few quick selfies and said that he was in a rush, and left. I later saw him hidden behind a curtain; not sure if it was on purpose, but I feel like he didnât want to interact with fans. His wife, Madison Rayne, on the other hand, was more than willing to take her time and sign/take pics. While she was talking backstage, we made eye contact, at which point I show her the program I want signed. Once she saw that, she cut her conversation short in order to sign for the few of us. She even told Josh Mathews that sheâs going to sign for a bit. (Mathews said he was in a rush, but if his wife can take a few minutes to sign/take pics, they clearly arenât in that big a rush like he made it seem). She then comes out from behind the curtain with a big smile. I hand her a blue sharpie and she signs my program. As she signs, I tell her that her match was great. In response, she thanks me and says that the crowd was awesome. After she signed my program, she signed my TNA Victory Road 2009 DVD cover. Then, we also took a selfie. Madison was super nice and friendly. After we took the selfie, she made sure to give my marker back to me and said: âI might walk away with this!â. I thank her and wait around some more hoping for Swann. At this point, it was 10:35 and I told myself that Iâd give myself until 10:45. If I canât get Swann by then, Iâll call it a night. Just a few minutes later, a staff member comes out and asks me: âwho are you waiting for?â. In response, I say: âRich Swann. Is he still here?â. He tells me that he thinks so and he goes in the back to look for him. He comes out and tells me that Swann is still here, which gave me some hope. A few more minutes later, Swann appears, all wet. I was going to call for him but he quickly went deeper into the backstage area before I could. The same staff member saw my attempt in trying to get Swannâs attention, so he himself went backstage to get Swann for me. Swann then sees me, and I hold the figure and marker up. He smiles and signals to me with his index finger, as if to say to give him a minute. I nod my head, but in response, Swann changes his minds and quickly shuffles over towards me to sign my Elite. I ask him to make it out to Alex, which he was happy to do so. He even thanked me several times before signing a few more autographs for a few more people. The person who met Swann after me also got the Elite signed in green paint (the picture of Swann with the marker below is actually the fan after me; I donât wear watches. I simply snapped a few pics as proof that I met him) and even offered a handshake despite the rush he seemed to be in. To me, it seemed like Swann didnât want to be seen. Considering how nice he was, I could be wrong; perhaps he actually had something he needed to do. Despite it only being a 10-second interaction with Swann, he came off as a genuinely nice person. Well, thatâs it for this time. Some ups and downs, but overall, Iâm happy to add a few more signatures to my collection. Thanks for reading!
