They've almost all sold rather lackluster. $25 is simply too close to the breaking point for most collectors. Specialty toys like DC collectibles and Marvel Selects with far more intricate deco and paint apps cost roughly the same. It's too much for a mass market toy, and as someone who opens his figures, I found no discernable difference in Hogan and Razor from regular elite flashbacks. That box don't mean a damn to me. Even Sting's "premium" jacket is coming in a $20 Undertaker flashback.

The places I hunt have restocked DM Taker at least 3 times. I think the figure sold very well in my area.

It's selling pretty damn well around me. And hasn't it been at retail for less then a month? Seems pretty early to say it's warming imo.

I think the issue with the Defining Moments line is that, although they are toys, in the toy aisles and toy stores, they are not exactly figures of WWE Stars that kids would immediately gravitate to. Well, my 7 year old son loves Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Sting, Undertaker, and Stone Cold Steve Austin, but that’s all because of I showed him who they were on the WWE Network and we have used them in WWE video games. I can’t imagine that most kids today know who these Hall Of Famers / Legends are to want to buy these figures. The Defining Moments line should have all been an RSC exclusive with limited production, as it is more for collectors than kids. The price alone would tell you that.

I still would much rather see this than E32 Bryan. I swear I saw E32 clogging up shelves this time LAST YEAR...and they are STILL on the shelves. Lol this for sure

Every DM has been a "shelf warmer"...even going back to the original run. I remember Savages and HBK's falling off the shelves at Kmart and Target. Every time I went to TRU I had to swim through boxes and boxes of Cena, Rock, Triple H, and Steamboat.
Hogan, Razor, Sting, and now Taker.....they all clogged shelves after the initial release.
I think the only ones who didn't warm were Bret, Austin, and Flair. I never saw Bret or Austin in stores because the line was slowly fading away at that point, and Flair never hit shelves in my area because it was the first one in the re-launch. I got them all on Amazon/Mattel Shop though.

Its not a shelf warmer when they make 5 times as many. How many f ing times does this board need an economics lesson.... Are Mars Bars shelf warmers because they are always on the shelf?!? This

I got about 10 of these at my wal wart
I think the 24.99 price turns the average consumer off
I've never seen sting or flair on the shelf's
I think for these to continue they would need to be an online only type thing

This If there are 50 Mars bars, 13 Paydays, 21 Snickers, 3 Zagnuts, 14 Reeses's, 9 M&Ms, 15 M&Ms w/ peanuts, 5 Twix... Then yes it is a shelf warmer. Also, if the Mars bars never sell and constantly have to be replaced because the best by date has passed, then yes, yes it is a shelf warmer. If other candy bars have come and gone and the SAME Mars bars are still there, yes, yes it is a shelf warmer.

Taker/Austin can almost kill this line. if GAB Sting fails , that could be it guys. Why would Austin warm? He's got three belts, 2 that have never been sold at retail. That figure could be the best selling DM2.0 figure so far at the right price.

Best selling- i highly doubt that .

I enjoy Austin's figures, even if they're all in black trunks.

Too early to tell if this is a shelf warmer but depends on your area. Hogan, Razor and Sting are no longer stocked in my area and I would bet Undertaker is next within the month to probably sell out shortly.

I don't know about Taker, but DM Sting was seen EVERYWHERE in EVERY store in my area. (Luckily that made it easy for me to buy him, lol). Razor and Hogan were almost everywhere too and warmed for a while. I haven't been to my stores in weeks though, so I'm curious to see how many Takers are around.
As for real shelfwarmers though, my Kmart still has remnants of E33 sitting there. It's depressing.

Taker/Razor/Hogan everywhere. I only know of two stores near me with Sting still. One is kmart with 3 and Walmart with an unopened box up top.
Taker is 8+ in every store I go to. Was gonna grab one, but I have 2 SDCC. This is a problem

Hope they don't scale back production too much on future DM figures. $11 on Amazon is scary. my fear is they'll drop the line altogether again. Hogan warmed K-Mart here for a loooooong time. Razor's been there now for months too. Sting is warming everywhere around here. Now Taker is starting to as well. the ONLY current line DM figure I CAN'T go out and pick up at a local store right now is Flair. Same here flair is the only one I have never seen at a major retail store. I seen it once or twice at a family dollar with the belts missing lol but that's it

The problem I see with Austin is the belts will cause plenty of loss prevention claims for retailers. I saw three HOF Yoko figures the other day all had the belts stolen. I see the same fate for Austin at retail.
