I wish we had DMs and flashbacks in Baltimore, all our stores have are shltty basics and gimmick series.

Ramon, Taker, and Sting shelfwarm cause regular fans see them as expensive regular figures. There is nothing that makes them pop off a shelf compared to Elites, their deco and outfits dont compare to a belt or whatever other accessories.

The problem I see with Austin is the belts will cause plenty of loss prevention claims for retailers. I saw three HOF Yoko figures the other day all had the belts stolen. I see the same fate for Austin at retail. He would be a pretty dull figure for $25 without any belts. Luckily he will be coming out after the xmas rush, and it should be a more difficult time to swap/steal (hopefully).

i don't know if taker is a shelf warmer here. it seems like every store has double or triple ordered cases of dm.
where target used to have 4-5 stings, there are now 18 takers. and target's ordering system doesn't automatically replenish until there are 3-4 figures on the shelf. so, to me, this says someone is going into the system and manually ordering extra. it is christmas time to it'd make sense.

Only DMs I saw in stores were Hogan and Razor. No Sting, no Taker. The Walmart I go to never carries DMs.

Hogan is everywhere around here. I went to look for a DM Hogan after the n-word scandal broke and couldnt find one. I havent seen any since then either.

I have seen more takers than any other DM figure in my area and I have a really hard time finding new figs around here. I have seen walmarts, targets and toysrus with stock in the 20s at each place. Its possible that these stores got a better price and purchased more than the previous ones. So even when they have to discount it they will still make some money on them if needed. I dont see this line surviving into 2017 I believe they would be fine if they upped the accessories. None of them have been more than a mormal elite except for the big names and the new parts since the first 4 were first time in the line figures. Hogan needed a cloth shirt with the belt. Razor needed 2 belts and a ladder. Sting needed a wcw title with the coat and bat. Dont know what taker wiuld have got...maybe the taker symbol they tried to sacrifice stephanie on? But i doubt wwe would ok that. Scsa with the 3 belts and vest seems the best value to me so far, but so many people seem less than happy about it.

Austin will sell like hot cakes based on the attitude era title.

Unfortunately Mattel just simply doesn't have enough new product to fill in the cracks to cover when wrestlers need to be pulled from the line. Also just because a figure goes for a lot on Ebay does not mean that it should be rereleased because ebay is a niche market and people will always bid up rare stuff. Tt does not mean that figure should necessarily be put out there at mass retail again.

They need to make these Walmart and/or toys r us exclusives. Austin and gab Sting arent going to help much. Goldberg, Kane with removable mask, HBK 96-97,Bret pink siglet with jacket would sell decent

Taker and then Austin both rerelease's.....if the lines going to fail it will be now. I'll be suprised if it survives but hope it does and I hope Mattel puts more variety, uniqueness and value Into the DM's.
I have no need of either.

There's no way anything will ever come close to E32 Cody Rhodes, at least in my area.

And considering Amazon has been selling it for $12 for the past 2 weeks why buy it in store?

Have to say, thanks to this thread for the heads-up on the Amazon price. Ordered. This Taker is gonna be my first Mattel WWE fig. On-topic, I was surprised to see DM Sting so abundantly in stores, but passed on him due to the price. Sculpt looked soft to me.

Just left a Wal Mart with probably 24 DM Undertakers. Great figure but it's definitely warming hard in some areas.

They need to stop making Undertakers for a while. I know folks won't like that, but why do we need so many?

Hope they don't scale back production too much on future DM figures. $11 on Amazon is scary. my fear is they'll drop the line altogether again. Hogan warmed K-Mart here for a loooooong time. Razor's been there now for months too. Sting is warming everywhere around here. Now Taker is starting to as well. the ONLY current line DM figure I CAN'T go out and pick up at a local store right now is Flair. The Wilkes-Barre Kmart had some Flairs on the shelves a few Christmas's ago
