I thought the after credits was cool with Yoda. What? I left whilst the credits were rolling. I'm going to see it again though so I'll wait till the credits end.

The movie is so confusing and disappointing, that it's Awesome! There is no original idea, It's kinda all over the place. The "Magic" and the feel of the original Star Wars returns, that feeling you had as a kid in 1977 is back. The opening crawl may just be the best one yet, cutting to the point right at the beginning stating that "Luke Skywalker has disappeared". The opening scene is Max von Sydow as Lor San Tekka saying, "This will begin to make things right". It is a wonderful sentence for a film that is exactly that, a change for good. For the ones of you who are excited to see Luke Skywalker, well don't hope for much, Luke speaks no words in the whole movie and is onscreen maybe for 30 seconds total. He never meets anyone else than Rey. He also appears in a flashback. The story is built around the married couple, Han and Leia. Kylo Ren is the most exciting character of the entire film. Ren is a Darth Vader wanna be...like father like son... no, like grandfather like grandson. You quickly figure out that Kylo Ren is Darth Vader's grandson and is Han and Leia's hot-headed son. This becomes real clear when Kylo Ren talks to Vader's helmet and says "Show me the darkness. I will finish what you started, grandfather." The new charcters are spectacular in the updated version of father vs. son. Finn and Rey correctly fall in love at the end of the film, setting up a new story, that I assume will be delivered in the next films. But before that happens we have a new version of Father vs. Son Battle. Han meets Kylo at the Starkiller base and tries to persuade him to return. Kylo pierces Han with a lightsaber and Han falls into the shaft on the Starkiller base. It's no surprise that paternal problems have made a comeback in 'The Force Awakens,' which folds in a father-and son-schism that evokes the one between Luke and Darth Vader. Han Solo dies. The last sentence of the movie is "May the Force be with you," said by Leia to Rey. This sentence helps the movie completely surpass the level of awesomeness. The film is awesome and worth a thousand watches, even if it disappointing and guessable, it is the rebirth of a spectacular new trilogy. I leave this review with Han's newest funny line, "Escape now. Hug later." I wish I had read your review before going to see it. Totally agree with every thing you said. The flim was ok untill han solo turned up Harrison fords acting was very wooden. Princess leia was a waste of time she is to old to anything, alk she did was stand there. C3p0 looked plastic. I thought luke Skywalker would be in at least half the flim as he has been a big part of promoting it, but 4 seconds was a huge disappointment. Best actor in the flim was Chewbacca and the new droid.

The movie was amazing, and it was not disappointing. It is my favorite movie of all time. End of story.

Not the best movie I've seen this year, felt like I was watching a bunch of brat kids playing with light-sabers. Nobody really knew what they were doing especially Kylo Ren.

I just got back from it. I was highly disappointed.
I only hope The Hateful Eight can rid this awful let-down feeling of the monstrosity of what I just watched.

I thought the after credits was cool with Yoda. That was the mid credits scene, bro. You should have stayed till the very end when Nick Fury talks to Luke about the Avengers initiative. I don't understand how some of you dislike Kylo's attitude/character . I thought his attitude was phenomenal. Maybe the best character of the new trilogy. You haven't seen a Jedi or Sith openly express uncontrollable rage like he did. Not even Anakin exploded like Kylo.. Total loose canon. I gained alot of respect for Adam Driver.
